Where is the PCV valve on a 1999 Plymouth Breeze?
I will assume that this is a 2.0 engine. There is so much confusion with this as auto parts stores will sell you the 90 degree inline version simply because that is what their data base says they all take. Not so! Standing at the front of your engine, if you see a plastic fitting threaded into the right end of the valve cover connected to a hose, that is your PCV valve. Auto parts dealers do not recognize that configuration for whatever reason.
The Chrysler part number is 4777240AC. Napa does not stock it in their stores that I'm aware of but, they can cross reference the number and they do stock it in their warehouses. I just ordered one tonight after two weeks of searching for the right part.
Hope this helps...Cheers!
If you find that your PCV valve is threaded into the valve cover on a 99 Plymouth Breeze 2.0 engine, the NAPA part number is 2-9479.

How do you reset the mileage indicator after oil change on a toyta?
turn key onto acc or power ondon't start vehicle .push in and hold the millage reset button for 5 seconds and you will see all zeros come up on odometer and your done.this answer is in your manual that came with vehicle.
It's called "blow-by" and is caused by exhaust gas leaking past the pistons during the combustion cycle. It's an indication that the rings are not sealing between the pistons and the cylinder walls. The cause can be worn pistons or carbon buildup around the rings preventing the rings from keeping a tight seal against the cylinder wall. In either case, it's typically the result of inadequate maintenance.
The exhaust gas leaking past the cylinders can build up quite a bit of pressure inside the crankcase (and rocker cover) resulting in what you're seeing as well as pressure against the crankshaft seals, causing them to fail and leak quite a bit of oil.
Another Answer:
This can also be caused by your valves not seating properly. Check your valve lash with a feeler gauge after you've set your motor to TDC, making sure the first rocker arms are loose. If they're tight, rotate your crank with a wrench 360 degrees till it is in TDC again. Another way is to get a different valve cover. There is a cover plate underneath the PCV valve to prevent this same thing from happening, and some different year 22R's had a plate stretching all the way to this front emissions hose. For now, you can simply unplug this hose. The oil is only sucked in by your intake, not pumped out from beneath your valve cover. As long as the hose is plugged into your valve cover, nothing will fall in either.
It could also be a plugged Catalytic converter. I had the same problem in my F250 it was spewing oil into my airbox destroyed my air filter and coated the inside if my intake with oil. I Know it sounds kinda ridicules but I was at my wits end gave up took it to my mechanic and i didn't even shut the engine off before he told me it was the cat. But it was a relief because every other possibility was internal engine ($$$). The increased pressure in the exhaust created blow-by increasing the pressure in the crankcase/valve covers and dumped oil through the pcv into the air box. Try running your truck w/o the cat to see if that is the problem (should be a power gain also). The right way to fix it would be to buy a new one. There is no smog test where I live so the honeycomb inside the cat mysteriously fell out of mine. And I would check how dirty your throttle body is and buy a can of Throttle body cleaner if needed.
Toyota ran out of gas now runs very rough?
try a can of "seafoam" you can ask for it at most auto dealers just get the truck warmed up. pull the vacume hose off the brake booster and slowly poor it in use a 1/3 of a can and poor the rest in your tank. hook the hose up and try driving it up the street it should run better.

Where is the PCV valve located on a 1998 Volvo S70 5cyl non turbo?
Strictly speaking it doesn't have a pcv valve it has a pcv system. Generally the part that gets plugged is the oil trap. Pretty much the whole pcv system is under the intake manifold and you have to remove it to do any work. Look on any sight that sells parts for volvos and they'll probably have a diagram of the system.

well if the 1985 did have a 22re ya it wold fit on a 1993 but since they didn't have the 22re in 1985 yet you probably have a 22r or a 20r in the 1985. i would recommend just buying a reconfigured head for the 1993 22re they are cheep like 2-400 bucks then you know its all new and will work

How do I reset the maintenance light in a Toyota Yaris?
The system must be reset after the engine oil replacement. Reset the system by the following procedure:
1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the trip A reading shown.
2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob.
Hold down the knob for at leat 5 seconds. The indication light flashes and the bars displayed in the odometer disappear gradually. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off.
If the system fails to reaset, the light will continue flashing. "
In a situation where there is heavy vibration, water, and overall movement its best to use two different metals. One reason is rust but as with your cam which is a hard metal it sits in a brass bushing in the engine, the two metals , one hard and one soft will wear less and therefore not loosen more than two hard metals, or two soft metals. In other words the steel lift blocks will wear a hole through the differential or thin out the leaf springs which are much more costly to replace than a piece of aluminum, its the weak link theory, leave a weak link so that it breaks before an expensive part does. heres another reason, its not safe to put lift blocks in the front of any truck.
How do you remove the entire dashboard on a 1983 Toyota Pickup to find water leaks?
You don't have to go, to all that trouble, unless, as I guess, you have a leaking heater matrix, located deep within the dash and a common Toyota fault. If this is the case, patiently locate and remove 300,000 small screws, 100,000 clips and remove the dash piecemeal until you can gain access to said knackered matrix. If your memory is not what it was, a digital camera is useful to document the process should you (inevitably) become confused as to how it goes back together. If however you live in a warm climate, a very quick (temporary) fix is to disconnect the water feed pipes from the engine to the heater and loop one pipe back onto where the other leaves the engine ie so that the water stays in the engine and does not reach the matrix, thereby "fixing" the leak.

Will 33x9.5x15 tires fit on a stock 1994 Toyota pickup?
34 9.5 15 tsl fit on my stock 94 4runner with a 3/4 torsion bar crank. recommend suspension upgrades. i would say the same for a 33 unless the "33" inch tire is closer to 32 inched tall. manufactures are not always accurate.
a tire with actual dimensions of 32.6 inches tall by less than 11 inches wide will work on almost any stock Toyota truck

On the 91 5.8L, and Im sure the 93 is the same. Its located at the rear of the engine, on the passenger side. its a short small hose attached to the top of it and about a 3/8" hose on the bottom. This hose goes into the intake, behind the air intake housing, its kind of hard to get it back in, but you can do it
On/Off valves in radiators turned off or clogged Another possibility is an air bubble in the loop that services the radiators that are not heating. Correction is to bleed the loop.
Your 93 Toyota pickup 4Cyl will start but shuts off after 4-6 seconds of running?
After recently completely changing out a 1992 cab to a 1995 cab, there insn't anything i dont know about this year of cab (89-95). i had this problem once and i had to make sure that my mass air flow sensor was completely hooked up, I only have the 22re motor, so there is a large tube from the intake to air filter and that tube has to be completely hooked up, that air flow sensor is like a throttle sensor, your pedal opens the air with a "gate" on intake and the sensor senses air flow to give more actions after that, if its disconnected, it will only run while pumping the pedal, and in some cases not even that. any other questions email me kc0tdw@kc0tmo.com
