Turn signal flasher is located behind the instrument panel, mounted on the left air outlet duct

I believe it's next to the steering column, just forward of your right knee when you're sitting in the driver's seat. You first need to remove the 10mm bolts and 3 screws that secure the cover. There should be a black box that controls the stop/tail/turn signals. The harness has about 7 wires plugged into it.

The turn signal flasher on a 1975 Oldsmobile Delta 88 is located in the steering column. There is a small door panel on the underside of the steering column that is held on by clips. Both the turn signal flasher and the hazard flasher are located here.

it is in the glove box on the right side of the dash you have to remove the plastic box the flasher should be to the left under the box.

It is under the lower dash pannel just left of the lighter

The turn signal flasher is located in the light control moduel. That is located under the steering column. If you are having problems with turn signals, check the fuses before changing the light control moduel.

Front seating area, driver side, under dash, mounted on passenger side of steering column.

If its the small red light at top of clock and its flashing... your water / coolant level is low.

The small canister shaped unit is located just to the left of the ECM (electronic control module) inside the right side of the dashboard on 1989 and earlier models. Under the dash; on or very near the steering column.

I own an 89, so they should be set up the same. There are two separate flashers for the 4ways and turn signals. The 4way flasher shoud be clipped under the dash on the driver side and the turn signal flasher is plugged in under the dash on the firewall, also on the driver side.

The turn signal flasher on a 2001 Monte Carlo is behind the hazard button on the instrument panel. You have to take out the instrument panel bezel to access it. I found this out through a Haynes repair manual for that car. I have to replace mine and did some research. The turn signals and hazard lights are both tied into the same flasher. Hope this helps.

On the pass. side beside the glove box (when open) there is the fuse box. Above or beside the fuse box is the relays for the turn & hazard signals. You may have to remove the glove compartment all the way over to the ash tray. That whole assembly comes out. Look up where the glove compartment used to be. You will see the relays use your owners manual it will point you to the flasher relay. If your turn signal is not flashing, replacing the flasher or relay might not fix it. Especially if one side flashes and the other doesn't, there is probably a short or corroded wire somewhere in the circuit. Refer to a wiring diagram to test with a test light. Good luck.

This seat is secured with two bolts in back and two hooks in front. Slide seat all the way forward, remove two bolts with Torx 45 heads from rear of seat tracks. Position seat recliner in full forward position. Remove headrest- requires small tool like a paper clip to release. Lift rear of seat (pivot on front hooks), disconnect wiring under seat, tilt seat forward as far as it will go. Pull rearward on seat to remove hooks from floor. Sometimes seat needs to be angled toward the door to get enough vertical clearance- then remove one hook at a time.

Located in the fuse panel behind the colored co-ordinated panel under the steering column. Accessed by removing the 4 black fasteners.

The flasher is Under the left side of the instrument panel. Near the interior fuse box. There may be a plastic cover over it.

The turn signal flasher is found when you remove the kick panel under the steering wheel and looking to the right (kind of on the side of where the radio is at) you will see the back side of the clip. Feel around and you should feel the flasher. I wish I could explain it better, but that's the area you should be looking in.

I have owned several beetles starting in my teens. My preference is for Type 1 VW's, known as regular or standard Beetles - not the Super Beetle as mentioned before. The Super Beetle's were Volkswagen"s response to American drivers wanting the car to handle more like an American car. I find the Super Beetles to have sluggish steering and a heavier feel. Standard Beetles have front end torsion bar suspension giving it it's characteristic light, bouncy ride with quick and nimble manual steering. As for the prefered year models, I quite liked my '68 with a 1500 engine. But I have since owned 3 '74 models mainly for the more powerful 1600 engine. This was also the last model before Volkswagen switched to the problem plagued fuel injected model in '75. I owned one of those as well and it was a lemon.

The adjustment srew is not really a srew, it's mor like an adjustment bolt with a handle wheel at the end and is located under the air filter facing the firewall of the engine compartment means back. Now if you want to adjust the idle and your car is equipped with an air-con, you have to adjust first without air-con. After the idle is adjusted to around 850rpm, switch on the air-con. The idle should be the same. If it changes you have to adjust the actuator for the idle-up. This is on the passenger side of the carb. It's vacuum controlled. If the air-con is switched on it should pull back and pull the flap more open in order to increase the idle to handle the higher load of the engine through the compressor. If the actuator is not moving, check the vacuum line and solonoid valve. If the actuator pulls the flap open, but doesn't release after switching the air-con off, so that the idle goes up to 1500 or more, the vacuum lines at the solonoid are most likely switched.

Should be near the floor on the drivers side (under the dash and to the left of the steering column)
