Might want to check Fuses #12 (20 amp) and #7 (25 amp) Too involved for detailed explanation, but there are 3 components: the compressor, the load sensor (at right rear spring), and a relay (in the RELAY_CONTROL_CENTER (behind the glove box). The YELLOW wire from the sensor pulls the relay which applies power to the compressor thru the BLK/LT GRN wire at the compressor's connector. The BLK wire at the compressor's connector is the GRD., the BLK/PPL is always HOT (thru fuse 12), and the WHT wire (when grounded) releases the pressure in the system.

The two clips are correct, most dealer say you have to replace the full regulator but you dont. the clip part numbers are - 15286776, 15286777, dealers here charge 25-30 bucks each clip. you can get them online for 15 but they tack on 10 dollars shipping so same price. they just pop on easy repair from all i read.

they stopped making this car because it comes with so many problems. so far ive had to replace the head gaskets, the motors in both driver side/passenger side windows, ignition tumblers, my ac is broken, and now i need a new ignition switch which means ive had to jump my car every morning since it beeps all night. avoid the rendezvous at all costs!
Under the hood there is a 20 amp fuse, in the P/Out slot. I had the same problem and this is what solved it.
Had the same problem with the Dodge Intrepid. Fuse is in the box under the hood(!) (not in the in-side fuse panel).
check for loose change in the outlet, a lighter will blow the fuse, as well as a bad cell charger/radar detector cord. Open hood, remove "fuse box cover" and look for acc or some such fuse.

use a ratchet on the tensioner to draw it back it will be tough note you must put on belt at the same time.yes it will take muscle but can be done in less then ten mins.most tensiners square hole you should be able to use 1/2" drive ratchet all by it self if no fit use other but Lincoln at least all my v8's use this size.if no tensiner with you will be able to see whether or not is stationary pulley then the alternator will slide in a bracket.
Sounds like a classic fuel injector problem. One or more injectors may be leaking ever so slightly after the ignition is turned off. This leads to a cylinder filling up with gas and engine flood condition. Problem will surface most prominently in hot weather and when you turn off the car then back on in less than 10 min. If you let it sit long enough the extra fuel evaporates and you don't have the flooding problem. Else you can keep on cranking the engine to expel the extra fuel and get the engine normalized (probably what you're doing now if it does eventually start). Off chance that using a good fuel system cleaner will fix the problem; worth a try.
