What causes steering wheel vibration during acceleration?
During acceleration? I'm not sure. But when both idling and acceleration the engine's combustion can cause a lot of vibration in the steering wheel if you are in an older vehicle.
On a 1991 Volvo What causes the transmission arrow to blink on the dashboard?

Go to a garage, and get the wheel balancing checked out on the front wheels.
What would cause a steering wheel to shake back and forth?
Any number of things can cause a steering wheel to shake back and forth. It could be a bad wheel bearing indicating a wheel is about to fall off. It could be a bad tire or bushing. Without checking it out personally, I can't tell.
It may be a loose hubcap. I have four loose ones on my 2000 impala. Cheverolet designed the hubcaps with separate plastic bolts (which looke like real lug nuts) to hold the hubcap on. i think you should check your hub bearing.when they go they usually start to growl
wheel bearings, any play in the wishbones, antiroll bar bushes, trackrod end/steering rack, tracking setup and wheel balancing or wheel conditions (out of shape) sorry for such a long list but without test driving the car its hard to say, if its a transverse engine and it was fine before the driveshaft was replaced its more than likely a tracking issue
How to prevent the rotors from warping?
heat! heat! heat! causes a rotor to warp 95% of the time. Little to now rust buildup in the vent area of the rotor, need a good pasage for air movement. rusty and flaking rust are no good! New calipers, brake flush, new rotors, clean flat surface free of rust buildup on the spindle area. All very important.
my cars doing the same thing and iv been told its the ht leads that need replaceing, after iv just changed my spark plugs too
How do you replace rack and pinnion on a 2005 caravan?
You have to play real dirty pool. You got to get under the car and remove the fluid supply hoses, the mounting bolts, and connections to the steering shaft. Best go to your local library for a repair manual for preliminary instructions. You need tools also. LOL

Why does my truck's engine shake more than usual?
Possible broken motor mount(s)
Can also be cylinder miss, or vacuum leak.
The timing may be off, have it checked at a mechanic
What will cause vibration while driving at constant speed but not when accelerating?
Bent wheel, tires out of balance, front end out of alignment, worn steering or suspension parts, bad shocks or struts, bent drive shaft, broken motor mount, or a combination of any of these.

What can cause white smoke and water from exhaust?
In order of least expensive repairs
1 blown Head gasket
2 cracked head
3 cracked block
If water is coming from the exhaust check your oil if it is going white water is mixing with it stop the motor before you wreck the bearings.
Why does the my engine shake during a cold start for 3-4 seconds and then is fine?
Engines will often "misfire" for a while when they're extremely cold. Misfire means that one or more cylinders aren't firing when the other cylinders are running. When that happens it feels like the engine is shaking.
There are many reasons why an engine might not run well when cold, anywhere from needing a tune-up to burned valves or even injector problems.
If it's been a while since the engine has been tuned up, try that first, but have the shop run a compression test while they're replacing the plugs.
You should have someone pull off the hubs and check your bearings to see if they need to be replaced or just repacked
