The line probably goes from the transmission to the radiator. The engine isn't involved in the process of cooling the transmission fluid. Replacement would be as simple as removing the old one and installing a new one.

You can but if you go to LMC truck you can order the whole diagram of the vacuum lines and it is a sticker that goes under the hood for about $4-6 dollars and you can get a magazine for your truck giving you all replacement parts and pictures of parts and location it is a must for a mechanic to have that book and the Haynes combined. Due to you can see what the part you are taking out looks like if it is hidden.

I've heard of boring and stroking to 572, but probably not much more without a tall deck.

You have to take out the whole heater and air condiasioning system out and replace the new heater core in. When you replace the heater core, you firset have to put the air condiasoning system in then the heating system/ heater core. When you take the old systems out, you first have to take out the A.C then the heater.

The exhaust on the car will blueish grey smoke also as you check the oil regularly watch the levels. or a vast amount of oil dripping out of gasket sites (valve cover,timing cover,oil pan.etc... etc... etc...

Tight to the point where if you push on it it feels hard to push down but you can get maybe a 1/16 inch of deflection. the belt will squeal if it's too loose and you may have to readjust after a couple of days as new belts tend to stretch.

There is NO adjustment, You must replace the clutch set to bring the pedal back to the right position. You also need to make sure the clutch slave cylinder/ master cylinder is good before replacing clutch assy.

That plate is there for a bar to bolt to that runs to the transmission dust cover and it helps to support the transmission and make it stronger. I would put them on the older engine block also. They will bolt right up and then you can put the bars back on .

Set the points for 30 degrees dwell.

the rear ac drain is right under the ac unit in rear driver side of van. my 1996 g-10 conversion van had a clear tube that was clogged, and leaked out in the rear soaking the carpet. just remove the clear tubing, clean it out and replace. i dont know about the front.

Asumeing your refering to a automatic transmission, You replace the transmission with a 4 speed that will fit your engine mounts and frame, and make adjustments to the cables and carb linkage. If the stock transmission was computer controlled you will need to reprogram the ECU to acknowledge the existence of the additional gear. You will also have to install a new clutch and brake pedal. Unless you have a donor car this is going to be a very, very, expensive conversion.

1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 clockwise on the distributor cap.

Drivers side head front to rear cylinder numbers are 1-3-5-7

The other head front to rear is 2-4-6-8

You would have to change engine mounts and bypass the EGR/computer/OBD II systems. The computer readings from the older engine to the computer would not match up because the engines are different, causing the engine not to run the way it should. You would also have to replace the transmission because the newer transmissions operate off the computer as well. I would suggest the 350 or 400.
