Answer: You don't. Cabin air filters were introduced on the Solara in 2002. (According to local dealer.) If I am not mistaken, you access the cover by opening the hood and removing the A/C fresh air intake screen and reaching in the opening to unlatch a smaall access door.

This involves removing the little "shock" on one side and then squeezing in the sides of the door while pulling down. The door will swing down far enough so you have access to the filter. Look for a panel or door about 2 x 8 inches and the filter is in there. Squeeze the tabs on the side of the plastic filter cover and remove the cover. Then slide out the filter.

Find and disconnect the upper radiator hose. This will be a hose going from the top of the radiator to the top of the engine block somewhere. The upper radiator hose attaches to the thermostat housing, which is usually secured by 2 or 4 bolts. The thermostat is inside and you will probably need a pick to get it out.

Having said that, your thermostat probably isn't the problem if you are overheating. GM motors have really bad intake gasket design, which can cause your car to leak coolant, which will in turn cause it to overheat.

With a few simple inexpensive tools.

The light that comes on when 4 wheel drive is engaged is not the service light. It is just an indicator light that comes on to let you know the 4 wheel drive is engaged. It will go off when the 4 wheel drive is disengaged.

Possible air bag system malfunctioning. Take the car back to where the work was done, and have them look at it.

The alignment service was just a coincidence. This is a known problem and Honda issued a TSB on this.

Simply take your car to your local Honda dealer and tell them about the SRS light and remind them that there is a TSB on the issue. Your dealer should replace the OPDS sensor at no charge, regardless of age or mileage, as a goodwill gesture.

Simple, just remove the "map pocket" in the doors. From there, you will see a wiring harness for the light.

you have to take off all the trim starting from the piece in the boot against the rear of the car. For each piece, take out all the screws and then pull (there will be some force required because there are also plastic clips holding these in that pull out). If the piece isn't budging, you're probably missing a screw.

Once the trim is gone, I think you have to drill out the places where the speaker is held into the frame. Either that or they screw out...

A long haul destination requires a fairly long journey and a substantial distance; usualy flights are over 4 hours long.

I have a 2002 T&C and became frustrated until I realized that those Chrysler engineers make it unusually difficult to change the pads. Here's how - on the inboard side there are two rubber collars on the upper side of the caliper. Inside those collars are bolts that need to be removed with an Allen wrench - the problem is it is a very unusual size - my guess is it is that way to keep people from working on the brakes. I have just about every Allen wrench U.S. and metric sizes they make and ended up filing an older one down to fit the bolt. Once the two bolts are removed it is duck soup. Caliper lifts off and pads can be replaced. Good Luck PS this is enough for me to not consider another Chrysler - these are the lousey things manufacturers do to support their dealers. I suppose they all do that to some extent but this is a cheap shot.

The tool needed to take out the two bolts is a 7mm Hex Bit Socket. I support you can also get an Allen wrench but I think the socket is better because you can use it with your rachet. You can purchase the Hex Bit Socket at any auto parts store for $6-7, or go to Wal Mart and buy the metric SET for $13

Thanks for the answer. It worked like a champ. I took an Allen wrench slightly larger than the bolt required and ground it down to fit. I cut it off so it was about an inch and a half long and put it in a socket. The bolts came right out. So the first rear brake and rotor change took me about 2 hours, without this post it would have been much longer. The second side took me 20 minutes. Thanks.

The 7mm Hex Bit Socket is worth the expense. Thanks for the tip. I got all four wheels done in less than two hours including pulling the tires. Don't know where I'll use that bit again, but worth the expense and saving on frustration.

You will need to loosen the tensioner pulley. When the tensioner pulley is loose the air conditioning compressor belt will become loose. Put the new belt on and tighten the tensioner pulley.
