1) You first need to remove the windshield trim piece that goes from the dash to the headliner.

2) Next remove front assist handle from headliner. This is kind of tricky. Have a screwdriver handy and pop plastic covers up.n They are attached on the sides. Take handle and push towards the rear of the vehicle and stick screwdriver in hole and pry hold tab up. The front comes out similar.(Remove back of handle first)

3) Next recline seat and pop center trim back from it's clips.

4) Open and rotate sunshaded parallel to side window.

5) Insert a small tool into hole @ arm of the visor.

6) Push upwards on tool while rotating towards windshied. The pivot arm will appear to be recessed into the bezel now.

7) Push outward and pull down firmly. The sunshade and headliner should be separated from the roof structure.

8) Now pull down the headliner and rock the visor up and down and the black clip should pop off above the headliner.

9) If you have lighted visors pull the wires away from the headliner and unplug.

INSTALLATION ::

1) Plug in visor.

2) Position wire into slot on visor.

3) Position visor into hole and place retainer clip between headliner and roof structure.(You will need an extra hand with this step) (Oh Yeh, The retainer clip is a real patience tester. There are (3) slots that it fits into on arm. Not to be confused with the wire hold down tab.)

4) Make sure visor is parallel with windshield and push up into hole. Continue upward pressure while turning visor towards side window. As you turned it the bezel should have become flush now.

5) Return all trim pieces to their spots.

Congrats. If you did it without losing your temper. If not. Welcome to the club.

Make sure all of the rod bearings are aligning properly. Sometimes a bearing will be slightly "canted" and it will rub against the crankshaft. Make sure the rods and pistons have the correct side forward.

As you reassemble make sure that each piston/rod combination is still moving somewhat freely. Turn the crank a few turns before going on to the next. Since the rings are not seated they will drag a little on the cylinder walls until the engine has run for a bit, but you should be able to take that into consideration.

The 1998 Chevy Corvette parking brake can be adjusted with the parking brake adjustment bolt. You can also adjust the parking brake cable.

Why would you want to put a '76 vintage small block into your 1994 Corvette to replace the LT1? That's craziness but it can certainly be done.

Now, if you're asking whether you can install a 1994 LT1 into a '76, your answer is ABSOLUTELY YES. LT1 into older Corvette is a very common swap. Good luck with it.

After an oil change, or when "CHANGE OIL" appears on the Trip Monitor, with the ignition on and engine off, press the "ENG MET" button (located on trip monitor) once. Press the "ENG MET" button again within 5 seconds. Within 5 seconds, press and hold the "RANGE" or "GAUGES" button (1990-1994). The light will flash. When it stops flashing and goes out, the system is reset.

To remove the battery in a 1994 Corvette, first ensure the vehicle is turned off and the keys are removed. Open the trunk, locate the battery compartment on the driver's side, and disconnect the negative terminal (black cable) first, followed by the positive terminal (red cable). Once both terminals are disconnected, remove the battery hold-down clamp and carefully lift the battery out of the compartment. This is usually illuminated when there is a fault with the Vehicle Control System. It could be several things or just a fluke. One of the abs sensors on one of the wheels could be faulty, damaged or misaligned. A good scan tool might help, but usually a scan tool with manufuacturer specific code reading ability is needed to diagnose the ABS system. You will almost have to take it to a dealer to find out this cause. You could try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, but I doubt that this would help.
