Peace,
The front speakers are located under the front dash panel. To gain access to the speakers you will need to take the side panels and the dash out, this is fairly easy to do. First grab the side panels near the top and pull, there are keepers holding it in and no tools are needed. Once you have one side removed go to the other side and pull the panel off. Next will be the dash and it is also held on with keeper clips. Start in the middle and pop the panel loose. At this point you should have the side panels and the dash panel removed. The speakers are held in place with Phillips screws.
Where do you find the speed sensor for a Chevrolet lumina?
The speed sensor is on the front passenger side of the car. Loosen the nuts on the wheel, then jack it up. remove the wheel. As you look where the wheel was, to your left is the speed sensor. It is at an angle, angled towards the back of the car. first unhook the wires attached. you can do this by hand. next, remove the bolt that is holding the speed sensor on. I believe it is a 10mm, and you will need a deep socket. once you remove the bolt, the sensor slides right out. Also, make sure you replace the "O" ring on the sensor. this is an easy job.
How do you start an EFI engine after sitting up for 6 mo?
If the battery and fuel are ok, it should start right up.
This is not a good descripton of the problem. Cranks? you mean the starter works? But the engine is not ? Yes, it stalled...and now it acts like it wants to turn over (cranks), but will not start. The starter does work. The engine will not fire up and run. The battery has ample voltage and amperage. Could an "overheating" problem cause this...wouldn't it start up after it cooled down if it overheated? Thanks for the help.
