Where is the horn located on a 2004 Chevy Astro van?
look up near the raditor or batt. area i know ford loves to play hid the horn on a lot of the cars.
The low water level sensor is in your radiator overflow resivoir. The reservoir is supposed to have a certain amount of coolant in it but if it's low, the light comes on. This has nothing to do with the radiator being empty. True, if the reservoir is left unchecked the radiator may eventually become low and then you will overheat but until then, it's just telling you the reservoir is low.
Who makes 8 passenger minivans?
The only minivans on the market with room for 8-passengers are the Toyota Sienna, the Honda Odyssey, and the Kia Sedona.
Toyota Sienna
The Sienna features three separate seats across in the second row, any one of which can be removed as needed. The seats are each wide enough for a carseat making it possible to have three carseats in the second row, an option very difficult in most minivans. If you remove the center seat the aisle to pass back to the third row is roomy enough for an adult to not bash their hips getting by.
Honda Odyssey
Offers an 8-seat option but the center seat is very narrow and does not have LATCH. If you take it out, you are still left with only a narrow access to the third row seat, which can be obnoxious for adults who have to climb back there and help kids buckle seats.
Kia Sedona
Kia is the cheapest 8-passenger minivan option. The center seat is narrower like the Odyssay.
Past models that offered 8-seat options: Chevy Venture& Pontiac Montana. The Montana offered 8 seat configuration, which consisted of a bench seat in the second and third rows. The Venture had a second row arrangement of three bucket seats that could all be removed for different configurations. The only problem was the middle bucket seat had no shoulder belt making it impossible to seat three kids in booster seats in the second row.
If you don't want to be limited to these options, there are several other SUV/Crossovers with the ability to seat 8 for you to compare:

What is the right size wiper for 2003 Chev Venture?
The 2003 Chevrolet Venture wiper blade sizes are 24" wiper blades on both sides front and a 16" rear wiper. See sources and related links below for more information. Since there are over 22 different wiper arm attachments, do not buy wipers just by length only - be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment.

How do you remove a Chevrolet s-10 door panel?
Start with a sall flat pry bar and work it in all around the edges. The panel is held on with plastic screw in fasteners. They twist into the holes on the door panel and the other end has a plastic "nail" sort of thing with plastic "barbs" on it.(Hard to describe unless you see one). The plastic with barbs is in the door in holes provided for it. Gently run the pry bar around the edges until you locate one of the holders and gently but firmly pry the fastener off. Don't try to save them as they are usually very brittle and will require replacement. They are very commonly found at the auto parts store.
Keep prying them off and the door panel will start to come off. Remove the arm rest by removing the two screws holding it. the rest is held on with plastic clips and slips out easily.
Now it is time to take the window crank off. This is a little tricky. I have set of what look like miniature ice picks bent in all different directions. Press the door panel in right at the crank and you should see a wire clip around the crank just before the fluted part. It is shaped like a convoluted horse shoe. Put the pick
in the end of the clip and pull hard and it should come off.
Now lift up on the panel and continue prying the clips off until the panel lifts free.
To replace the procedure is reversed and should be easy with new trim panel clips.
The window handle is easy to put back on by putting the clip in the groove and pressing it over the end of the crank. the crank is shaped to allow you to put it on the end and with the fleshy part of the palm just bump it and it will go right on.
And there you have it.

What is the problem if the front AC works great but the rear AC blows hot air on a 2002 Tahoe?
There is only one compressor. The good news is that the a/c system should be working fine if you get cold air in the front system.
For 2002, there are manual and automatic controls for the rear system. The manual system is simply a potentiometer that provides a voltage between battery and ground to the temperature door motor. Look for a wire that has rubbed against a bracket and shorted to ground.
The automatic system uses an infrared sensor to determine the temperature in the rear seating areas. This could be messed up. There should be a manual mode to allow you to determine if the control head works at all, the IR sensor is bad, or if the head is fine. Set the system to manual and try moving the temp knob. If it doesn't move, look for a shorted wire to the temp motor. Or measure the voltage at the motor to see if it changes.
Other possibilities include a stuck temp door.
A Personal Experience:
Our 2003 did the same thing. Was the first Tahoe I'd owned and did'NT know alot about the a/c system. In fact , I figured since it didnt blow cold BRAND NEW, then it wasnt supposed to. Years down the road a friend asked why it didnt blow cold, so I took it to a REPUTABLE mechanic. Turned out to be a bad Rear Condensor.
How do you fix po449 on a Chevrolet venture?
Hi,
To fix a po449 on a Chevrolet Venture will take a little troubleshooting, and probably a "scan tool" that is actually capable of sending commands to the control computer. This is because you have to "listen & feel" around the EVAP module while telling it to open & close this solenoid.
I have provided a link that has more details about this code.
Good Luck, Greg
How do you operate the air shocks in your 2000 venture?
Hi,
The shocks in the back of the van are "automatic" in that they fill and empty based on the height of the back of the van and a couple of position sensors that are back there. This also assumes that your air pump is installed and working properly. If you have that pump, you should also have an air hose that can attach inside, which is used for filling bicycle tires, rafts, that kind of thing. I believe there is a switch that will turn that pump on manually too.
Good Luck, Greg
How do you stop the wind shield wipers?
Snap them off if you are so dumb as to not be able to stop them the correct way.

How much will it cost to fix a cracked cylinder on a 1995 ford escort?
I'm reading that this is a cracked cylinder, not the head, so I'd pretty much call the engine CRAP. The engine is not built to have the block welded or repaired in this way. If it's a bad cylinder (piston assembly) then that may be repaired, but as with most things, cost will depend on a lot of factors (area of the country and labor prices, replacement part prices, etc), and it may also require that the entire engine be overhauled. It may be less expensive, and possibly better in the long run, to have a new engine (shops rebuild them for resale, with a like-new warranty)installed. A junkyard engine may have similar problems, and you'll have spent a bunch of money for junk. whatever a new or remanufactured head costs. cracked heads must not be replaced, your welcome, mo the ford tech
couple of things to try,,oil the track and run door back and forth to penetrate the oil.if this doesnt work, its probably the motor and this is expensive to fix.around 500-700 dollars.it could be the switch but not likely.
Have someone pump the brake pedal sever times then keep the pedal down. Crack open the bleeder on the master cylinder just a bit. Fluid will come out (or air.) When the pedal has reached the floor close the valve. Pump pedal and repeat till no air comes out for two or three tries. Do the same at each wheel cylinder.
