If you trace an imaginary line from the engine oil dipstick to the back of the alternator, you will see the engine oil filter, right between the oil filter and the dipstick you'll find the engine mounted fuel filter assembly. The other filter is inside the HFCM located on the frame rail under the driverside floorboard near the transmission. (Can't missit, it has 4 or 5 pipes going to it.) It has one side that looks like the bottom of an oil filter, the filter element is inside it. Use a wrench or socket to turn it counterclockwise to open the unit. make sure you drain the unit before.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE 02 SENSOR , BUT THE OIL FILTER IS LOCATED SLIGHTLY TO THE DRIVER'S SIDE UNDER THE PLASTIC SHROUD SURROUNDING THE BOTTOM OF THE RADIATOR. YOU WILL SEE A ROUND PLASTIC ACCESS OPENING. I THINK IT ACTUALLY SAYS OIL FILTER ON IT. SIMPLY TURN IT TO REMOVE IT. WHEN TAKING THE OIL FILTER OFF, USE A PIECE OF CARDBOARD FOR THE OIL TO RUN ONTO. IF YOU DON'T PUT SOMETHING UNDER THE FILTER TO CATCH THE OIL IT MAKES A SERIOUS MESS. HAVE FUN.

Misfire number 8 cyl. You have fuel since others are working, so check to see if it's firing just clamp on a test light to the lead and see if light flashes. If it is-check compression that cylinder if not- check plug condition and wire resistance. If those look ok, test coil with multimeter. If comp ok and plug firing, check injector resistance (unplugged/engine off) and compare with a couple others next to it to see if it specs in the same neighborhood.

you don't need one. when you open ur hood the first thing u see is alternator. the map sensor is right in between the alt. and condenser on the intake manifold

C'mon!!! the diagram of the fuse panel is cast into the cover of the fuse panel, whether you are talking about the one under the hood, or the one in the drivers side of the dash. Take a look! Not true - it is on the covers under the hood - it is not on the cover inside the drivers door.

Struts are crucial for suspension. Its noted that these cars have noisy front struts which do not necessarily have to be replaced. However, struts that have seen better days can further damage your tires, wheels, and the rest of your suspension. Get it done.

It is important to note here that suspension noise - front or rear - is perhaps the Achilles heal of these other-wise very dependable Toyotas. Many a wrench - myself included - has erred on noise diagnosis with Toyota and Lexus cars. In regard to your particular question, I wonder if 'wheel' or instead 'strut' bearings were recommended. A strut bearing, or mount, along with struts themselves are often the cause of suspension noise. I can count on both hands the number of wheel hubs(bearings) we've replaced on cars. But noise is also caused by worn sway links and bushings, loose mounting bolts, loose trunk fixtures, loose inner wheel well panels, loose upper strut nuts and loose alignment adjustment(rear) bolts. I imagine I've missed a few.

Most Toy techs will acknowledge suspension noise as one of, if not the biggest source of complaint. An experienced mechanic will know this list of potential noise-makers, tell you that it may very well involve a process of elimination, and start at the low/more affordable end - bolts, trunk, sway link bushings. They should also be able to determine if their recommendation is a safety-related issue.

Remove Power steering, and A/C belts. Move the A/C compressor out of the way if you have this. While Alt/water pump belts are still tight, try to loosen the bolts on the water pump pulley. If the pulley moves, you may need to jam a screwdriver in there to hold it. Loosen the belts, unbolt the alternator if you do not have enough access and remove. Getting the alternator out is usually tricky and involves unbolting the main bracket as well. Unbolt the water pump, clean gasket surfaces, install new gasket, install new pump. Put everything back.

The position lights on my XC70 are the bulbs just above the taillights/brakelights on the rear of the car. I have one that is often going out and generating the position light message. I usually just rap the brakelight area with my fist and the light pops back on. I guess there is a loose connection in there.

take it to a shop if u do not know how cause diesel's have very delicate oiling and watering systems and they have to be done right or you will be putting a new engine in it is better to pay 300-400 dollars to have a pro do it for you than spend 5-10,000 for a new motor.

I have a 94 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera S on 20's and its on the original suspension.The only thing is to find the right width of the rim and a really small tire.(Mine 20's are 20x7.5 tire size 225/30)
