I'm looking for the same thing. My horn does not work and the fuse block does not have one listed. Someone told me they don't have one, the horn is controlled electronically and shuts off if honked too long. If so I can't find a reset. I unhooked the batteries hoping that would reset something but it didn't.

1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 is the most common firing order. Bring the number 1 cylinder up to top dead center. And find out where it is pointing on the distributer, put the cap back on ,then start putting the plug wires clockwise on the distributer starting where it was pointing on the cap with number 1.

A quick verification that wires are on in the correct order would be to do the following: The Malibu should have a labeled coil back on the rear of the engine. Each of those numbers represents a cylinder. For the 4 cylinder model the cylinders are 1,2,3,4 - starting from the passenger side of the vehicle. Simply make sure the coil pack label and the cylinder numbers match with the plug wire running between them. For the 6 cylinder model the cylinders are labeled like this: 1,3,5 on the back of engine (starting from the passenger side) and 2,4,6 across the front of the engine (starting again from the passenger side) If all checks out well, it could be on of several other issues. The most basic being that the car needs a set of plugs and wires. There are fuses under the hood and on the driver side end of the dash. Not sure what "the breaker" is.
