do the headlights not work usually the switch is ok the problem may be the integrated controll module which is the silver metal module screwed into tha front of the fuse box.it controls power to many items in the truck the headlights includedits like a big electronic relay when it gets signal from headligth switch it turns them on.alot of times it can be reset by disconnecting the negative battery for 5 minutes. then reconnect and try your lights if you are all set you will need a module still but wil know what is wrong

lift hood pull plug wires loosen two Phillips screws lift cap off you should change roter too by pulling it straight up install new roter set new cap on tighten screws replace plug wires with new ones find 1 on new cap that

is were you start fireing order is driver side from front of motor 1357 pass side is 2468 start with number one on cap and go clock wise 18436572

chances are there is something loose in the transfer case. If you check and find out that is true then you may need to get a new transfer case.

Good quality oil, no short runs, always get the engine up to temperature, regular oil and filter changes, regular engine flushes.

Sometime the fuel pressure leaks down went he engine is turned off for a couple hours or more. If that happens the engine may be difficult to start later.
