junction and is sensitive to static electricity just as not as bad as a MOSFET. Soldering

a FET requires technical skill than it does a regular transistor. Transistors are used in switching and audio applications while FET's are used in RF VHF and HF applications and switching on high current devices such as LED's and piezo buzzers.

So a one transistor radio using a PNP transistor does not mean you will pick up more stations you will just receive a weak audio voltage through the high impedance earphone from the simple diode circuit using a 9 volt battery. While FET's and MOSFET's will amplify the signal.

MOSFET's are for really high current devices that's why have heat sinks on top of them.

The main advantage is of course convenience - it is much easier to write\read code in a high-level language.

The main disadvantage is the performance - in general, if you write the same program in a high-level language and in a low-level language, the first will usually take more time.

It can make a difference if your program is very heavy, or if performance is very important (e.g. you're writing an operating system), but for most normal programs I would recommend using a high-level program, and python is a great example of one!

In answer to your question, I would say quality. The quality of life is obviously much more important than quantity, just look at how many people smoke pot. If they were after more quantity they wouldn't use, but they, as well as all of us, are looking for more quality. I also believe that in order to have a quality life, you must bloom where ever you are planted, and don't allow your conditions to drag you down. It's all up to you, in the end, to decide what's important to you, but remember that your mind can make you see things you've seen before, but overlooked a thousand times or more. So excersise your mind, read a news paper upside down, play a game of chess at the park, go salsa dancing with your imagination. I promise your mind will give you un-harvested pleasure, and when you truly free your thoughts, you will find the quality that we all seek.

There is no standard for which a teacher can be hired. I know that some of my professors even prove to have lower IQ than I; however, one's IQ is merely a subjective scoring technique which has relatively little importance to one's actual intelligence. Mine is 125, but at the time I was taking Adderal so my scores were altered. Again, there isn't much significance between IQ and your teacher's employment opportunities.
