The Largest engine that will fit the motor mounts in a 1988 Ford Bronco is a 351 Windsor engine. You can get custom motor mounts and what not to fit any engine, but it takes some creativity and welding. I have a 460 engine in my 1988 Bronco, but it took quite the time to fit it in.

If you know where to put the key in, you know where the ignition switch is... Actually, safe to say you should stay away from it.

now I'm not quite sure about bronco II's but in my 93 bronco the box was located under the driver side of the dash more towards the middle. The box is about 2 x 2 1/2 inches, and has a 7 prong connector I hope this helps

Excessive crankcase pressure will cause this problem two possible causes are worn/broken piston rings or a blocked engine breather.

size. bronco II is built on a shortened ford ranger platform. bronco is built on an f150 chassis, with the exception of pre 1977 broncos being built on f-100 chassis.

First thing that you should do is check and see what your oil level is. If you have over filled the the vehicle with oil this will cause the engine to knock, and cause further damage to your engine. Make sure that vehicle is on level ground and check the oil dip stick. The oil lubricating the dip stick should not be beyond the full mark. If it is remove the drain plug from the oil pan to bring the oil to the proper level.

you can buy a real shop repair book on your bike from bike shop or on line, the same one the bike shop uses.its not cheap but tells everthing

SAE 5W-30 for temperatures below 0º F, SAE 10W-30 for above.

Of course yes! it will fit in, but some things you must consider, 4AGE is basically an EFI engine meaning you have to configure the wiring digram for its ECU unless if you want to change it into a carb type, you may have to check the engine support and last thing is dont forget to include a transmission for 4AGE front wheel layout OK then that should give you enough info.

Any B series engine will drop right in and Hasport makes a lot of mounts so you could probably drop an H22 or a K20 in.

Y pipe after rear suspension or jus next to the cat for more noise and more power.unless u have a rear mounted turbo wich will make the car faster and alot louder.and its better in the long run to have one of these as they are easy to put on and will pass mot inspection

I haven't done that exact model, but most fords you need the key (stupid I Know)put the key in and turn, there is a button sticking through the column push it in with the key turned should pop out! hope that helped?

I'm pretty sure that all General Motors V8 engines use the same dwell setting. Most likely you have a distributor with the little pull up door and points with the Allen screw adjuster. The setting is 28 - 32 degrees dwell so just set it as close to 30 degrees dwell as you can.

I will make the assumption that it is the same as a 95. If that is so, then;

Jack the truck up in the rear as high as you can.

Place jack stands under the axle.

Disconnect the filler and return hoses.

Drain the tank

Disconnect the fuel line from the top of the tank.

Disconnect the electrical fitting from the tank. [ there is a "hold in clip " on the top of this connecter.

Get a 3 ft or so 1X8 and a jack, support the bottom of the tank with this.

Remove 1 bolt from the front rock shield. It is right on top of the frame, 1/2 in [I think]

There are two nuts [15mm] on the driveshaft side of the tank at the strap attachment points.

The rear nut is easily accessable. The front one is under the driveshaft bracket but, can be removed [think long extension for this job.

The fuel pump and filter assy are accessed by screwing off the plastic ring and lifting them out. NOTE there will still be about a quart of fuel in this unit.

Replacement is the reverse of the above. NOTE: the pump filter unit has at the top a rubber seal. This seal must be fully inside the housing for the plastic lock down to engage correctly.

Either in the back of a Haynes or Chilton manual or, best of all, in the authorized Ford wiring diagram from Helm. I have found them on Ebay and swap meets.

You have to Jack up the car, and reach above the rear end , remove the 2 clips holding the fuel lines and give them a slight twist and pull. This will remove the hoses. Then you will have to remove the hoses and straps and wiring in the trunk, in order to remove the tank.

Get a carb. and you can eliminate alot of the unwanted mess in the engine bay.

You have to remove the intermediate exhaust pipe, the muffler, and drop the rear differential to remove the gas tank. gas tank must be removed
