Also check the multifunction switch in the steering column. These are notorious for shorting out in the sunfires/cavaliers. Manufacturer number: ARBC505802, AutoZone part #SW824, shoud cost you about $40 and is easy to replace. Tip: try jiggling the hazard light switch on the steering column and see if you get any activity in the brake lights.

The cigarette lighter fuse on an Escort ZX2 is located in a secondary fuse panel just above the main passenger compartment fuse panel to left of the driver's left shin when sitting. You can only see it by getting your head down below the driver's seat level. It is black & about 3/4" x 2" in face area and can be slid forwards off its plastic mounting rails with a modicom of force. Well, no disrespect but that IS WRONG. I am currently having this issue myself. I have replaced the IAC, AND the ECM (or some call it the PCM). Guess what? STILL SAYS IAC overspeed error!!!!! Could be anything from a bad head gasket to a vacuum leak.
Maybe a faulty thermostat or a possible block in the radiator or cooling system. Also check the fan is working and the cap is maintaining pressure.
Rad. CapsIt sounds like the pressure cap ( radiator cap ) isn't holding pressure and when the coolant heats up & expands it just flows into the reservoir. Also if the thermostat is plugged or faulty you will have similar problems IE. too much pressure and overheating. Your problem sounds like both at once.Is it ok to put water in the radiator of a Volvo instead of antifreeze?

Answer #2I had the same problem (maybe), what you want to do is take off the assembly for the turn signal knob, open it up and check if a little pin is broken off. Mine was broken and i fixed it by getting a thin piece of metal (cylindrical) heating it up and sticking it in where the pin was. Inside triangular cover has one Phillips head screw - remove it and slide the cover up and away from hinge side of door. It has a plastic molded extension that catches the door sheetmetal so don't pull it until it gets loose. It will eventually give way and slide free. Remove the second screw under the cover . Now you have to figure how to get the mirror free. It also has some plastic modled grips on hte door side which I have not yet been able to concur. You are on your own from there. Let me know, I've flunked inspection because of hte duct tape holding my floppy mirror steady.

Actually that is Incorrect, on 2003-present Tiburon V6 models the IAT sensor is located on the back side of the intake manifold, nearest the firewall, between the throttle cable mount and the stainless steel grounding cable on the back of the engine. The IAT is held in by a clip, remove the clip, and pull the plug out, there are two females, one is yellow and the other is red, insert your 10-50 dollar EBAY "12-35hp Racing module" into the females using small needle nose pliers, wrap it up with electical tape, and let the diode blow your ecu's fuel-air ratio out of commission. BTW the "racing modules" are only diodes, they are all the same, and they do NOTHING, i actually lost horsepower! Also when you up your Air fuel mix, don't forget to increase air-flow by buying a substantially overpriced cold air intake. Oh remember too... too much fuel and not enough air, lowers output. you burn more fuel because the computer is fooled into thinking the air is colder than it is, therefore dumping too much fuel into the combustion chamber.. i mean honestly think about it... Fuel is just fuel. AIR IS HORSEPOWER. The MORE AIR that is put into the engine increases horsepower, How do you think turbo works? AND JUST SO YOU KNOW MODIFYING YOU ELECTRICAL SYSTEM VOIDS YOUR FACTORY WARRANTY AS WELL AS PUTTING YOUR ECU AND ENGINE UNDER MORE STRAIN.. DO THE RIGHT THING AND STOP BUYING CRAP. They are horseshoe looking tools, you stick them both in firmly, until you feel it catch, sometimes it makes a clicking noise. Pull the radio out evenly and firm. Sometimes the tools pull out with nothing, or one may come out, or sometimes the radio comes out crooked and wont move. Just keep playing it with, it's sure to come out. I have also used SOD (Grass) steaks to remove them, pretty much anything you can find, that is hard, and can equally displace the presure will work great!
