The way I would verify the gap is to go too www.NGK.com, and enter the info on your car. The site will show the available brand names of spark plugs, their respective part number and the gap for each brand name. Good Luck.

Let me guess after a couple times of operating them they stop working??? Ya very common issue. You need to replace the ones affected. The new ones may not look the same they are updated so don't panic if they look different. They do have Right and Left sides thou. On the accuator their is a RH and LH. When determining right and left on a vehicle all mechanic pretend you are in the drivers seat. They are pretty easy to replace their is a trick kinda hard to explane but I'll try. Remove the door panel pull back the covering and remove the rod that is attached to the lock actuator. Now the trick. Grab a flat head screw driver and look at the latch on the door. slide the blade in the crack about 1/8" in with the butt of your hand hit the end. You may need to reposition and attempt a couple of times. With this done the actuator will drop out into the door. Disconnect the electrical and reinstall. Just make sure that the actuator lever is in the right spot and that it is clicked all the way in. Sorry really hard to explane. The other way is to remove the entire door latch as a hole. First off you may what to check in your fuses ALL of the fuses in my 95 ford T SHO 3.1 the fuse blew and there was 2 fuse boxes both containing a fuse saying it was it *on in the car drivers side that flips down on under the hood drivers side by the windshield* after replacing them my door locks/electric seats worked properly again

Under your van, between the catalytic converter and the muffler. Approx under the front seats of the vehicle. It has 2 mesh 'flexy' things on it.

It could be your serpentine belt, thermostat or water pump.

On the ( 2003 ) Ford Windstar which was the last model year , the fuse box is

below and to the left of the steering wheel , by the brake pedal ( it has a cover

on it ) and the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) is located in the engine

compartment between the battery and the drivers side front fender

IAT is the intake air temperature. is is usually loacted on the air cleaner box. It is screwed to the box and will have a plug with 2 or 3 wires. If it is not on the box it will be on the black rubber tube from the air cleaner box to the throttle body (intake manifold)

Listed in owner's manual and under the hood on a placard. Auto Parts store can alos provide this information when you buy the new plugs.

Find the manufacturers information from the different vendors through NAPA or O'Reilly's. Then you can typically find the information via the web.

I needed the same thing. I went to sale websites and looked for pics people had taken of their engines until I found what I needed.

There is only one thermostat relating to heating/cooling on the Windstar, and that's the one on the engine.

If you're looking for the temperature adjusting/setting control, that's the temperature blend door and the actuator motor that drives it, based on the dashboard slide adjuster.

i got a mustang repair manual off advance auto parts online for 79-93 mustangs, has an ok diagram. book costs $27.99

to do the frt one's put a jack under the sub frame and then undo the sway bar links remove the two rear sub frame bolts and let the jack down slowly you may have to unhook the exhaust at the flex pipe remove the four bolts from the sway bar bushings and the bar should come out.

On a 1999 Ford Windstar, the headlights might come on when the car is shut off because of a mechanism that allows for a courtesy light. The headlights come on for a few seconds to allow time for the driver to enter a building.

I am not fluent with the cooling system on your model,however the procedure to remove air is pretty simple.Assuming the radiator has a cap where you fill the system just simple leave the cap OFF and turn your heat on (move selector to hot for temp) and the fan speed on high.Let the truck idle for 15-20 minutes and if you want to speed it heating up place some cardboard directly in front of the radiator only while you do this then remove when your done with this procedure.The antifreeze may start to bubble over after ten minutes so have so rags to catch this.This will remove the air from the system easily and DO NOT idle up the truck while doing this due to it will cause the cooling to overflow and make a mess,just idle the truck.If the radiator does not have a cap on it,and it is on your reservoir just leave it off and follow the same procedure.Simply and very effective.Park on level ground!
