It's actually on the starter, and it's the small cylinder attached to it.

Windstar starters have a dual-purpose solenoid that not only engages the starter gear with the flywheel, but also acts as the starter relay.

It is not uncommon for there to be some incidental loss of power steering fluid. I have added minor amounts of power steering fluid to my 2001 three times over the years. No more than a couple ounces at a time though.

If there's more loss than that, start examining the power steering hoses and connections for signs of leakage.

Go to the parts store and get a cheap gauge to check the level, your system may have a slow leak that SHOULD have been caught if it was charged by pros. If not buy a can of leak sealer and add it to your system, this will also probably top off your system and get you back in business, if not add another can, IT'S EASY AS HELL REALLY!!

Ummm... I have a 2004 freestar whose back hatch wouldn't open either, but then I got smart/stupid and yanked on the handle really hard and presto!! It opened, but uh oh now it won't shut...So I guess that's how not to fix it unless you would rather it not shut than not open. I'm thinking about maybe spraying it with WD-40...Let you know if it works. If all else fails I will get my dad to look at. He's really smart about these kind of things.

Follow the high-side line from the charge port to the firewall. The line breaks with a screw fitting. The orifice tube is inside the line where that fitting comes apart. It's virtually impossible to get to with the engine in the car.

It's located behind the glove compartment in the light delay relay panel.

Sorry, But Chevy heads don't have freeze plugs in them. Never did.

The engine block has 8 plugs in it.

2 in the back where the fly-wheel is, 2 on each side of the block, and 2 in the front of the block on both sides of the timing cover. 1 of the plugs on each side of the block is hidden behind the motor mounts. You can't get to the one's on the back of the block unless you remove the transmission or pull the engine out.

It should be with the tune up specs on the fan shroud.

#2) it shouldn't be anything you worry about. new spark plugs are pre-gapped and shouldn't be messed with. in most cases today spark plug gapping is a thing of the past unless your building a race car.

I had to remove the air intake to get to it.Easy then.

They Should come Pre-gapped in the box. If you dropped one or something, measure one of the others from the box.

to change the sensor you can get to it from the bottom at the rear of the engine.there is a heat shield at the collector pipe that you will need to remove for access. it's impossible to get a good view so get a small mirror and flashlight. it is right behind the exhaust collector and it only has one 10mm bolt. you need to be somewhat of a contortionist to get it but with a little patience you can get it out without removing the exhaust pipe like it is recommended.

A better alternative to the above procedure is to go in from the passenger side in the wheel well. Because anytime you have to play with exhaust bolts more than likely after all this time these bolts are either rusted or welded in place and you end up braking them. Procedure works better if there is a vehicle hoist, but a jack and jack stands work too. Procedure is as follows:

1) loosen right front (passenger side) wheel

2) Raise front of vehicle as high as you can and place jack stands under sub frame of vehicle.

3) Remove tire and wheel asseembly.

4) Place jack under engine assembly on right side of vehicle

5) Start removing motor mount.

a) Remove 8mm bolt holding fluid lines in place.

b) Remove 18mm nut on bottom of engine mount and sub frame .

c) Remove two motor mount bolts

6) jack engine up about 1/2 inch to an inch to be able to lift engine mount out of place.

7) Remove engine mount bracket from engine

a) remove three 13mm bolts from bottom side of bracket to engine

b) remove one 13mm bolt from engine bracket side

c) remove one 13mm bolt from top of engine bracket and remove bracket.

***Now you have a clear shot at the VSS ****

8) Remove insulation piece of foam from cable area.

9) Carefully disconnect the VSS from the cable.

****Next step optional makes everything easier but adds an extra step****

10) Remove the two 8mm bolts holding the speedometer cap in place.

11) Remove the speedometer cap and VSS together.

12) Unbolt 8mm bolt holding VSS to speedometer cap and remove VSS.

13) Remove speedometer gear from VSS by removing U clip and place on new VSS.

14) Bolt VSS back onto Speedometer cap.

15) Replace speedometer cap on to transmission.

16) Reverse steps 1 to 9 to finish install.

Total time for somebody who knows what their doing 1.6 hrs. For backyard mechanic allow double so 3.2 hrs to complete. This procedure is a lot easier because you can see what you are working on and have plenty of room for your hands.

A vacuum hose diagram can be found in a service manual, possibly available at your local library for check out. You can also buy the manual at most any auto parts.

If you mean gasoline sensor it's in the gas tank otherwise there are several other sensors located in the engine compartment.oxygen gas sensor is on the exhaust manifold. egr gas valve is located on the intake manifold.

If Your Question Is That You Are Not Getting Much Water Onto The Windshield. Look For The Screen To Be Partially Stopped Up In The Washer Fluid Tank Or The Hose. Also You Could Have A Small Hole In The Line Not Allowing The Unit To Pull The Fluid To The Wipers.
