When should the Timing chain on your 1997 Ford F-150?
Normally, not until an overhaul. But if you hear the chain making noise or the timing changes due to the chain jumping a tooth, then replace it, and all gears.
What year is your vehicle, and what year vehicle are the seats from?
If your vehicle was designed for heated power seats there should be an open port for the harness and relay. The proper procedure is then to aquire the stock harness and wire bundle (check a junk yard), plus the correct relay and fuses. Route these wires in the factory clips ( there should be a molded plastic channel for all wires in the floor near the center column or kick plates) and through the precut locations in the carpet. Plug them into the new seats. Plug the relay into the factory location. Add the fuses to your fuse block. If the heaters require a separate switch on the dash there should be precut locations with plastic slugs in them. Punch out the slugs and replace them with the switches. Test the seats. If they do not work consult a professional installer.
If your vehicle was not designed for this option contact an MECP certified car stereo installer and they can wire this for you.
I would charge around $300 in labor, plus the 15% over the cost of any parts. You would be looking at a fee of $450 or so through my shop because this is about 2 hours of work (really only about 45 min if precut by Jeep) after I get the parts. Best case is a full business day, likely 2 because of parts. Believe it or not, that is pretty fast and cheap. A dealer will probably charge around a grand and have your vehicle for 3 to 4 days minimum.

How do you replace the bulb in a Ford Windstar cornering light?
There are screws that connect the outer portion of the fender (the black painted part) to a black plastic piece underneath the car and going up into the wheel well. From the point where it goes from horizontal (ahead of the wheel well) to vertical, remove three screws in both directions. You may have to get a pair of locking pliers (vise-grips) to start them.
Once removed you can lay on the ground and look up into the space where the light is. You can twist and remove to replace the bulb, and it also looks like there's enough room to get tools up in there if you have to replace the lens. Bulb: 3156k
What would cause the backup sensors to stop working on a Ford Windstar - Freestar?
It was just a few months after I bought my 99 Windstar that I had problems. It always seem to happen after it had rained and when I got to the dealer the problem went away. After numerous trips they seemed to finally resolve the problem.
I was told that they used some kind of marine sealant on the sensors. It would appear that when it rained or after I washed the van the sensors would short out. That seemed to work for about 2 years now the problem has returned. The sensors seem to work after a few days of no rain. I think the sealant has broken down.

How to change the motor mounts on ford wind star?
To replace motor mounts, they are unbolted and the engine is raised off them. You can use a mobile crane (cherry picker) to lift the engine. The mount is replaced with a new one. Install the engine mount bolts loosely on the block. Leave them loose during engine installation so that the mounts can be more easily aligned with the frame mount brackets. A rolling head prybar is handy when aligning mounts. Use the pointed end to line up the mount bolt holes before installing the mount bolts. A rolling head prybar is helpful when aligning motor mounts. Do not use the engine mount bolts to pull a V-type engine into place. Use shims if necessary to fill any gaps between the mount and block. The Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association reports numerous cases of block distortion resulting in scuffed pistons in cylinders, near mount that were forced tight.
