Right at the front of the car if you look down between the rad and the motor it should as plain as day. The shold be a wire harness running to it with big red wires.Remember to disconnect your battery before you try to change it.

It's the pcv valve (pressure control valve), and it's located on top of the engine block to the right hand side, can't miss it.

The 1997 and up cavalier or just about all gm cars have whats called an obd2 system. That's the engine controll computer type and name. This wireing setup sucks. But any way the top speel limiter is built in and its really just a fuel pump shut off. you could just redo your hole fuel system but its just alot easier to take your car to your local Chevy dealer ship and pay them to re conform you system and remove the rev limiter and fuel pump shut off system. but just so you know this onlyl adds like 10mph to you over all top speed. If you want to go faster then youll have to do some slight mods like an exhaust and cold air.

Under the dash, on the driver's side, to the right of the steering column. It has two connectors to wiring harnesses.

1.Remove the negative battery terminal.

2.Locate the blower motor resistor on the passenger side under the dash board. It is mounted to the the blower housing near the blower motor.

3.Disconnect the electrical connector to the blower motor resistor.

4.Remove the screws or bolts to the blower motor resistor and remove the resistor.

5.Installation is the reverse of the removal.

The fuel pump AND fuel relay (the relay being located under the steering wheel area under the dash and fuel pump located in the fuel tank) went out simultaneously causing my '94 Legend not to start at 150,000. After replacing the fuel pump, having the relay repaired and replacing the fuel filter, which is a good idea to replace the filter every year and right after replacing the fuel pump, mine started right up and I haven't had any problems ever since.

Your owners manual should tell you most relay fuses are under the hood in the black box on the driver side close to the fire wall right next to the air intake the manual should tell you which one it is

The starter is located under the intake manifold. The first thing you need to do is disconnect the battery. The bolts on the starter are 15mm. You need to jack the car up or get it on a hoist to get one of the bolts out. The other bolt is a lil harder to get at but you dont need the car in the air to get at it. It makes it easier to get at if you remove the A/C compressor. You will need about a two foot long extention to get to the bolt. I advise spraying penetrating oil on the bolts and letting it sit for about 15 min. You will have to try and slide the starter out the bottom. It will make it easier if you take off the oil filter before you try to slide it out. So basically you can do two jobs at once. Change the starter and the oil. I hope this helped.

The ABS system requires 10.5 volts to operate, so if the charging output of the alternator was below this level, the ABS light would come on, and the ABS system would shut down. If the output is far below this level (say, zero, if the alternator failed), your battery would not charge, and the car wouldn't start. Have your charging system checked.

Press the trunk release switch on the drivers side door panel. If it doesn't have one, you're SOL and need to call a locksmith

Honestly I think that Pontiac made the overflow reservoir too small. I have to add antifreeze to my GF's Grand Am once every couple months. If its a consistent problem where you're having to add antifreeze daily/weekly the car may be running too hot, and should probably be looked at by a mechanic.

Well, that just happened to me and I noticed that the wiring back there in the trunk was all held together with electrical tape. Nice. Thanks a lot, dealer... So anyway, 3 or 4 of the wires looked like they had been chopped right off, so I got the wires held together (more electrical tape) and it works again. The only problem is that I have no clue what I'm doing and they're holding on to each other by like a millimeter, so probably the first time they move they'll come apart again. Right now I'm trying to find online how to get replacements for these wires and can't find a thing. If you ever do, please let me know! thegrays4life@hotmail.com

You can usually disconnect the battery cable for about 15 seconds and reconnect it to reset the engine light.

Check the fuse box for a(red) resert button

- to reset the engine light disconnect battery for 15 minutes , the red reset button on fuse panel is for motor oil change reminder reset

Thats not a good question buddy, check in service manual some engines exaust and intake valve pushrods are diffrent lengths, the cleaner ends of the push rods go into the block and sit on the lifters. but other than thatit don't really matter, really should keep track of internal engine parts though moving metal partswear together and when mixed up can cause premature wear.

Pull the fuse.

Make sure none of the electrical connectors on the engine have come loose first then if still no good check to see if your fuel pump is working ( turn the key to on and listen for a whine from the fuel tank if not the fuel pump relay or fuel pump may be bad, if so the fuel filter may be clogged and needs replacement.

This is only a quick general description. The door panel must be removed. There is a plug in door panel up top right or left depending on what side you are working on that must be removed. Also in the top handle there is a screw behind a small cover for the door upper handle, remove it. The whole black plastic behind the upper handle needs to get pulled out. Next take off the bolts for the handle itself so it moves. There are 2 screws in the lower handle both have covers, remove them too. Carefully pop the panels in the lower part of the door working your way around. Next take off the black plastic side view mirror cover. Next remove the panel by working it up and out of its track. There will be plastic barrier on the door that must be removed to access the bolts. Un-clip all wires from the panel. You will at some point need to plug back in the window switch to move the widow to the point of accessing the bolt on the track that needs a ratchet to get to. Now you should be able to see 2 bolts holding the window on the track and I believe 3 or 4 that hold the motor in place. Pay close attention to how its in at this point, you will need to pull it all out but don't forget mounting points. The window will need adjustment with the new track in place so make sure you do the alignment before putting the panel back on.
