Where are the spark plugs on 2001 F150 5.4L?
Under the coil packs. I just answered how to replace them in an expidition, and the answer is the same for the F150. Here is a paste of my answer on how to replace the plugs on the Fords. Dave Unfortunately, the answer is that there is no easy way. Ford went to having the coil and plug over each plug, making it very difficult to just change a plug. I just changed a bad one in my F-150, so I can walk you through most of it. Mine was cylinder 5 (drivers front). First, you need to take all the stuff out of the way. I take off the top shield (the one that says Triton 4.6) (10mm nuts). Then, the air cleaner hose is disconnected to give a bit of room. I then take of the plate that holds the power steering reseviour (8mm bolts) (note: Make sure you open the bracket holding the accel linkage that is mounted to the plate before taking it off). There are 3 bolts holding the plate on. For each cylinder, there will be different stuff in the way. Just be careful how you take it all out. The shiney tube that runs down each side and ends in a "plug" in wach cylinder is the fuel supply for the injectors. You really don't want to mess with that (on mine, the injectors were orange). If you can't work around these, take it to someone who can. So, now we are down to the coil. The coil looks like an inch tall barrel, attached with one bolt on one of the sides (7mm). That bolt is fairly long, and you will probably need a socket extention to reach it. Once the bolt is out, pull up on the coil. All of a sudden, you see that it is actually about 6 inches long because it goes way down to the spark plug. Now, hear are a couple of important parts. Make sure the engine is cool. Before you take the plug out, blow some compressed air into the hole (block your eyes, as stuff will fly out of there. Take a flashlight, and look down into the hole to make sure there is no debris hanging out in there. It is really important to have it clean before opening the cylinder (which is really what you are doing. Now, you are ready to remove the plug. Have a plug socket with the rubber insert (it holds the plug). Also, have a LOCKING socket extention. That way, when you pull it out, it can't fall off and cause you all kinds of problems. So, with our locking extention (I use a 10" and a 3" combined to give myself room), you are ready to unscrew the plug. Push the wrench down on it, and unscrew it like anything else. Once it is moving, it will come out pretty easy. Take the new plug, gap it, and insert it into the socket so the sides catch. Put it in nice and straight. It should go in fairly easy. So not force it. If it is hard to turn, back it out and try again. Any messup here will be quite expensive to fix. Once it is finger tight, give it a fairly good twist (not too much) with the socket wrench. Now, the annoying part, putting the coil back in. I have found that you can't just jam them in and expect them to work. You have to be really careful that the bottom of the coil connections go over the top of the spark plug. If you are right over it with a flashlight, you can line it up well and send it home. Once it is down, just work it around a bit (twisting) to get it to go in all the way. Then, bolt it back down with the 7mm bolt. Then, put everything back together. Don't forget to put the accel linkage back into the clip. Take it for a test run, and smile as you just did it yourself. Why would 2002 Kia Sportage just stop running while driving it?
Been there, done that. Had the same problem, Kia could not figure it out. They wanted to replace the entire wiring harness. Finally, the 'Factory Guru" of Kia figured out where there was a bad connection in the wiring harness and a jumper was added to span the intermittent problem area. O.K. since then. Check with Kia, they should have a service bulletin in their data base. Good Luck!

Where is the blower motor resistor in a 95' Taurus 3.8 and how do you fix it?
usually on or near the top of the blower motor behind glove box area
When you open the door a switch is closed and that turns on the interior lights. When you turn the key off and exit the car the lights are kept on by a timied relay. I would think that the most likely culprit would be the door switch. It may be loose or misadjusted and randomly making contact. Look inside the door frames for the switch and see if any are loose. Push on them and see if the lights go out. Make sure one of them is not "Sticky". TommyTrouble

Where is the blower motor resistor on a 99 crown vic?
Inside the engine compartment, pass side. There are two hoses which go into the interior of the car via the firewall, which connect to the heater core. The resistor is right underneath the second hose closest to the engine. I had to disconnect this hose to access the two screws which hold the resistor in place. Unscrew them and it will pop right out. Be careful as there are some wires around and you don't want to end up with more parts to replace. Once the old resistor is out, disconnect from the vic's wire harness and connect the new one. Put the resistor back and screw it to the box. If you disconnect the hose, don't forget to reconnect.

There are none. Modern cars have their lubricated parts permanently sealed to reduce maintenance. Unfortunately the boots can leak and then they can't be refilled with grease.
Where is the freeze plug on 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix located?
there isn't just one freeze plug. there should be at least 6 to 8 freeze plugs. there should be 3 on each side of the blocks 3.1 or 3.8. and there should be 2 on the rear of the motor. have to take the tranny out to get to these. pretty sure there are not any on the front of the motor. but not 100% sure.

Why does brake pedal sink to floor when you first start out?
If you had your brakes worked on recently you need to have them bled. If not then you have a leak somewhere. Try listening to the master cylynder or the ABS resivoir and see if you can hear air coming from them. If not try bleeding your brakes and see if that helps.
Spark plug gap 1983 Honda Shadow 750?
Go to your local Honda shop and get the correct NGK plugs. They will come pre-gapped. This applies to all NGK plugs. You can verify this at their website. brad The manual says the correct gap is 0.8-0.9 mm (0.031-0.035 in) if you happen to get plugs that are not gapped. Hope this helps.
Yes mine did same thing it was the crankshaft sensor located on the firewall side of the engin.
