First of all there is no dipstick on a manual transmission, they use a fill plug instead. The fill plug is located on the transmission right beside the half shaft (look right at the lower level of the CV shaft) the fill plug is there. When ever you remove the fill or drain plug you should change the crush washer. To fill the transmission properly, place vehicle on level ground, remove the fill plug and if fluid comes out then you should be okay. If the fluid is dirty, remove the drain plug. Then fill the transmission with 10W30 or 10W40 oil until the fluid comes out of the fill plug hole. Use a squeeze bottle with a long flexible hose inserted into the fill plug hole, it makes filling easier. The transmission capacity is 2 quarts. Hope this helps

If you want to flush, you add it to the tranny fluid and drive around the neighborhood(NO HIGH SPEEDS) for 5 minutes, then drain and refill the tranny with a new fluid and a new filter(IF EQUIPPED) the residual chemtool evaporates, and the trannys as clean as new...enjoy this also is an engine flush procedure(SAME B-12 chemtool) also.. This one is ez. Take the back of the back seat out and carpet from the truck. Just behind the lower back seat in the truck area, on the drivers side will be a cover that is sealed in with tar. remove the cover with a screw driver. below that will be the top of your fuel pump unit. Unplug the wires and remove the fuel line. Unbolt the flange bolts and carefully pull up the fuel pump unit out of the tank. Have a rag ready to plug the hole while you have the fuel pump assembly out. At the bottom of the assembly is your fuel pump. If your car is carberated, you will need a pump that has 28 lbs fuel pressure and if it is fuel injected, you will need a 60 lbs fuel pressure. You can buy just the fuel pump for this job. they have the whole assembly with pump but it probably will exceed the value of the car. Good luck
