What is it called when you want to know more about someone but feel rejected when they don't show a sign of affection?

It's hard to say based on that description, but "infatuation" or "a crush" or "general neediness" come to mind.

Is it bad if you're 14 and don't have breasts?

No, it is not bad. it means that you are not fully developed yet- considering you are a girl. If you are a boy, then you shouldn't expect to have breasts at all. Because you are young, your body is still developing; if your breasts still haven't grown when you become an adult, then you may just have small breasts, unfortunately. But don't worry- its not going to harm you at all, and should you choose to have children, you will still be able to produce milk for them. Don't think about it too much or feel that you are unattractive or insignificant. Your body simply needs time to grow and develop.

Is there such a thing as a stupid question?

*If you are looking for silly or weird questions we have had on this site, there is a category called Most Amusing Questions Ever Asked on WikiAnswers - it is found under the Humor and Amusement Corner*
Regarding the supposition that a question can be stupid: we often hear the statement that a "question is stupid." Literally speaking, a question can be neither stupid nor intelligent; It is only the questioner who can possess the attributes of stupidity or intelligence. More from our Wiki Contributors:
  • If you perceive it to be silly or stupid, then yes, it is, however, if the person asking the question genuinely does not know the answer than no, it is not silly to ask that question.
  • Yes there is a such thing. If you ask a question that you could have answered yourself just by thinking about what you just said, that's pretty silly. For example, my pharmacy has a phone answering system that says "Thank you for calling your local 24-hour pharmacy" and I constantly get people saying "What time do you close?" - that's a silly question.
  • A question about something you do not understand, or that you'd like more information about isn't silly, even if you think everyone except you must know the answer - in class, if one person asks a question, then there are at least another five or six people who wanted to ask, but were too shy. Asking a question when you can easily find the answer by looking in your book or on a search engine like google or dogpile might be lazy, but it isn't stupid.
  • In some cases a question can be considered a stupid question! If you are just starting to learn about something...then there are lots of questions to be asked...because you have never learned about the subject! Those questions are generally not considered stupid.
However...sometimes people try to ask questions that they know are stupid, or silly. The reason for this is simple. They are trying to either
  1. fit into a group
  2. make people laugh
  3. seem cool
  4. look cute
  5. impress someone

What would actually happen if a human brain had the processing speed and power of a supercomputer?

Humans have something known as a 'biological threshold'. When developing technology for Air Force planes, they found that they had available technologies that could do far more automatically but that pilots and crew had a limit to how much they were able to respond to or act on. They named this limitation the 'biological threshold'. Even if our brains could operate at the capacity of a super computer, we would not be able to function much better or faster.

What would actually happen is pure speculation. Did the person slowly acquire speed and power; did the accelerated capacity occur all at once; or was it acquired over centuries of evolution. All of these possibilities would lead to different outcomes.

The last group is the easiest to speculate. As super brain power was acquired over time, society would have evolved accordingly. What that society may look like compared to our own, we couldn't say because we don't know where it would take them.

The person who acquired it all at once would have the most difficulty due to the fact that the person would be the alone in a slow, plodding world. Unless this person has the means and ability to channel their expanded capacity to some use. 'Lab rat' springs to mind, not a desirable outcome. The age of the person and how this occurred would have a great deal to with the outcome. You as a teen, and me as a senior would have far a different experience in what we would be able to do. Was it done deliberately as on experimental basis or the result of an accident. If it was done on purpose, the outcome would be determined by those involved, their motives and expectations. There are some real life examples to observe outcomes of people acquiring 'super' abilities by accident. Every now and then, a stroke or head injury victim becomes a savant. It usually involves one specific ability but you will find that they lost a lot in the transaction.

If an individual acquired a supercomputer brain over a course of time, the factors determining the outcome would be based on whether that person was the only one, if this was taking place in a number of people, or if it was happening to everyone. An extremely wide area to speculate. A lifetime of science fiction novels could be written one by one. Regardless of what you speculate for these last two descriptions of how this ability is acquired, without the opportunity for the world around these people to evolve as the ability evolved, a person or people would reach a biological limit for the capacity to apply their ability.

One contributor said 'It would melt...', meaning the person's brain. This reminded me of a conversation I had more than fifty years ago. A young lady was describing a man she knew; she said he was a professor and he was so smart that he went crazy. Her words were, 'His brains went to his head', and now he's in the institution. Crudely put, but she may have answered your question those many years ago.

To be very angry?

to be annoyed with someone or something

Do you like to annoy people?

Nope. It's a dumb thing to do. I hate it when people think "Pie" or "Bob" is funny. -___- They'll say it over and over again and it's not funny whatsoever. So don't annoy people, unless you'll want people like me to hate you. -__________-

I only annoy people who annoy me, and of those people who annoy me, I only annoy the people with high IQ.

Why can't Donald Trump stop lying?

Trump can't stop lying because he needs:

1. The attention of a segment of the American public.

2. To assuage his ego.

3. To avoid being held accountable.

Trump cleverly mixes in truths with lies, much like the majority of politicians with ulterior motives. By gaining the attention of a segment of the American public, it helps him not only rile up his base, but makes him appear trustworthy by spouting conspiracies that the majority of media won't report on excepting alt-right loon sites. It helps him weaken the power of mainstream media to hold him accountable, by constantly attacking their credibility.

Further, by attacking the credibility of government, it helps him control the conversation and steamroll weak government officials who play defense on the issues, much like he did to Hillary Clinton during the election.

Finally, he lies because to tell the truth would be:

  1. To admit to criminal wrongdoing.
  2. Counter to his brand of rich excess with no responsibility.
  3. Overall, not good for him.

Trump has gotten away with so many lies, why stop now? They've only improved his stature and vaulted him into the oval office. A man who benefits from telling a lie and suffers no significant consequence learns to do it again.

What is partial reinforcement?

Partial reinforcement is when an individual is rewarded on some, but not all, trials. There are multiple variants of partial reinforcement (fixed interval, variable interval, fixed ratio) but the schedule that is most likely to have the slowest extinction rate is variable ratio, meaning that after a certain number of trials between two values, a reward will be given. A real life example of this is gambling.

Have people littered at least once in their life?

Yes, this is most likely so. Littering is basically dropping trash in the nature/streets. Even in non-developed/isolated cultures they tend to drop banana leaves (or other food leftovers) where-ever they happen to finish the banana. Even the most enlightened nature activists may have accidentally littered (things tend to fall from your pockets) and are most likely to have littered when they were young, before becoming activists. But eventhough littering is this 'popular' it does not mean people should not strive to keep the environment clean.

Is the any psychological info on a person who refuses to answer a question by ignoring or not responding and why would a person do this?

Why are there silly questions?

This world has many silly people and silly people ask silly questions.

I believe there are silly questions such as "how come we're human" but i think silly questions are there to lighten up the mood, but most of the time if you think a question is silly, it could just be your imagination because a lot of the times you might surprise yourself and find it's a very good question.

People like to ask them. Like this one.

How can people be light in others' life?

Love.

From experience as a believer, loving everyone and building relationships in love is how you can get the opportunity to become that light in someone's life; that's how you can get into that position. You have to build a relationship with the purpose of allowing God to show Himself through you.

There are tons of scripture references I could use for this topic, but here are just a few: Matthew 22:37-39, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Matthew 5:13-16 Good answer above, also the encouragement, counsel and example of your life is a light to others. You are the only Bible some people will ever read.

How do people visit other people?

There are many ways to visit today. One way is in person, by going to the other person's home or business, or meeting at a restaurant for a lunch or getting together at a coffee shop. People can also visit on line: they can exchange e-mails or instant messages, and if they have Skype, they can call a friend and if the two people have web cameras, they can talk and also see each other. Visiting online is not the same as visiting in person, of course, but can still be considered a way to spend some time and have some conversation.

Can a person fake a stroke?

technically a person could make their face perform in a certain stereotypical-stroke-victim way which could be somewhat convincing to some people, however it would probably be impossible to fool doctors and professionals, so if you're looking for proof about somebody possibly faking a stroke then take them for a checkup and go in with them.

however I must say the benefits of faking a stroke are completely lost on me, and if someone is faking it I hope they feel ashamed!
