What are the advantages and disadvantages of a direct cold water system?
The main advantage of a direct cold water system in a dwelling is that they are much cheaper to install than an indirect system. Purely because less pipe work is needed and if at all, you will only need a small 110L storage cystern in the roof space. They also provide potable water from all draw off points because all are mains fed. There will also be a good level of pressure in the system.
However, when the mains supply pipe is going under maintainance and is shut off, there will be no cold water in the property, and this problem would not occur if the system were indirect, because there would most likely be a 240L cystern in the roofspace so plenty of water if the mains fails, you can be drinking your cuppa while the property next store cant even wash there hands

It is meant to increase student achievement by extending instructional and learning time for each subject studied. Instructional time is also extended because students are not spending as much time passing from class to class. Spits form as a result of deposition by longshore drift, which is the movement of sand along the coast by the waves. The spit is formed when any material that is being carried by the waves gets deposited due to a loss of the waves energy, this could be because of a change of wind direction, or an estuary in the opposing direction slowing it down. As time progresses the deposited material forms a spit.
Sediment for example at a mouth of a river is carried along the beach due to pravialling wind (when the wind blows the sea in a horizontal direction) the sediment is carried backwards and forwards called swash and backwash, over time the sediment can build up to form a landform such as a spit, along the edge of a bay. which usually have a hooked end.

Why do you believe you need to learn?
I believe I need to learn so that I can get into a good college so I can get a higher-paying job to support a future family and so I can relax during retirement. Learning also prevents future mistakes. For example, posterity(future generations) has learned from historic events, like the Holocaust and wars, and because we learn from them, we have a better likelihood of preventing such events in the future. Learning is a natural process--you make a mistake, you learn from it. However, school-wise, I believe it's important to learn so that you can have more opportunities in the world and aren't ignorant of the time and place. Keep in mind, this is my opinion only. Just like your muscles need exercise for you to be healthy, your brain needs exercise also! People who learn new things all of their lives stay alert and feel younger than people who are "couch potatoes" in every area of their lives. If you like feeling healthy and having good muscles, then you should not forget your brain.
