you may need to replace the motor that causes the wheel to move. I had the same problem. Also the gear wheel that the motor attaches too was broken on mine. You might want to inspect that as well when you remove the motor.

there are a whole list of cars that have the same bolt pattern as Mazda millenia. the Milly has a 5X114.3 mm and 5x4.5 inches. i can tell you that all Lexus cars have the same bolt pattern. you can go to roadkillcustoms whell bolt pattern cross reference data base.

my 95 had triangles on the gears. each one had to be aligned with marks on the belt. i think...we had an old book that showed us that, but the book didn't hold the secret other than tell us there were marks under the grime to look for.

timing belts are fairly easy to fix ,you need the # on the belt to get the right replacement ,go to an auto body shop,they know how to do this job.

In order to remove the water pump on a 2000 Mazda Millennia, you must first remove the timing belt and the pulley for the water pump. Remove the pump itself by detaching the four bolts that are securing it. Next, replace any gaskets, install the new pump, then the pulley, and then the timing belt.

sounds like a bad wheel bearing, on the right front. this is a common symptom on most any front drive car, the hub and bearing are a one piece unit.

you probably need to change cabin filter, I had same problem on another car, so that is my best bet

The flashing check engine light means there is one or more cylinder misfires occuring.Have the codes pulled from the computer to determine which cylinder(s) are misfiring.

It is not repairable it needs to be replaced\
Should be located in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose Drain about 1 gallon of coolant from the radiator
Remove this housing
Note how thermostat is installed
Clean both surfaces
Replace thermostat and gasket
Re-fill coolant slowly to prevent an airlock
Start engine and look for leaks
Run engine to normal operating temperature with heater on
Re-check coolant level

The fuel pump is mounted in the top of the fuel tank. Open the trunk, remove the carpet and remove the access cover in the bottom of the trunk, over the fuel pump.

the fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. there is NO WAY to access it unless you drop the tank. sheese. dont even know the difference from a fuel FILTER and a fuel PUMP.

Sorry I am a licenced mech. and own a 96 milly s there is an access panel in the trunk for the fuel PUMP on the millys

should be in engine compartment., mine is by driver side at top against fender wall in a black plastic cover box

For all internal combustion engines that have a distributor, the crankshaft turns twice for every rotation of the camshaft. You need to point the mark to #1TDC when the piston is on top of the compression cycle. Then the rotor of the distributor points to the #1 sparkplug wire.

It means the traction control system is on and that your car will less likely spin out or over rev

for regular driving leave the system on so it means the light will not be there

29s here, yes there a release button and it is located on the shifter housing directly across from the traction control button (tcs). pop the cover up with a smell flat head screwdriver and then stick that screwdriver down into that opening and press it down. that will disingauge the neutral safety switch so you should be able to shift. if problem persists check trans fluid and linkage located below the intake hose.

If you stopped as soon as it overheated, you probably have no damage, unless the head gasket has blown. This would require replacing the head gasket and possibly resurfacing or replacing the head. Depends on why the gasket blew, if it indeed is blown. You may have nothing more than a stuck thermostat, bad water pump, low coolant level, clogged radiator, or a non functioning fan. 29s here, a mechanic once told me that the 2.5 motor could go through hell was gasoline panties on. just dont over fill or deprive it of oil.

The bulbs can be removed and replaced from the rear of the light housing. Be sure to get the proper bulb/light combination as both the high and low beam bulbs are accessable. The bulbs can be removed by twisting approximately 1/4 turn CCW (counter clock wise) and them pulled straight back. Once you pull out the socket, you remove the old bulb and click the new one into the socket. Be careful not to touch the new bulb with your bare hands or get them dirty in any way. The oil from your skin will hold the heat on the glass surface of the bulb and cause it to burn out prematurely. Use a paper towel or tissue of some sort to grasp the bulb when you click it into the socket. It is pretty tight in there so care should be taken not to twist and tug to aggresively on the wiring as you maneuver around all the other wires, etc.

hell no go to the dealer or an auto parts store buy a manual for your car and do it your self... Definitely not, I just had mine changed on a 97 Millenia and the total I paid was $89. 29s here, im sure they gave an explaination as to why they would charge up to/over one thousand dollars. it is quite possible that if they recommended calipers and hoses (usually dealer items) the list prices and labor may have come to that. list price is charged when a company gets parts from an outside source. if this is so and you want to take the cheaper route, see your local junkyard for the calipers.
