Look in the glovebox under the parcel trey that is in there. It is actually under the glovebox but you access it thru the glovebox.

It takes a special gauge to install the crank sensor. It can be rented from some parts stores.

I've have had to take the batteries out of the two 1992 2-dr Cutlass Supreme convertibles that I own. It's just a bit more work than usual in that you have to first remove the support that runs at a 45 degree angle over the windshield washer fluid bottle, which is on the driver's side under the hood. Take out the front two bolts, loosen or take out the rea bolt and you can take the support out, or rotate it out of the way on the rear bolt. Then remove the washer fluid bottle - unplugging the electrical connection o9n the washer pump at the rear of the bottle, and taking the rubber hose off that is near the hose will make it easier to remove the bottle. Hopefully you won't have too much fluid in the bottle, or it can get messy. You will have to pry out the front two plastic clips using a flat head screwdriver, or something similiar. Remove the other nut securing the w/w bottle ands remove it, exposing the battery. With the proper socket, and extension, remove the bolt and rubber piece that is on the long side of the battery at the bottom, securing it to the battery tray. Undo the connections to the battery terminals and lift the battery out. Installation is pretty much the reverse. Incidently, the two horns this car is equipped with are tucked in the fender, behind the battery, so all of the same steps have to be followed to access them.

Yes they do have one.. well mine does.. it is above the oil filter kind of behind the rear of the starter.. pain in the but...

Now I wanna know how to get it out?!

I just replaced mine. It's right above the oil filter, can't see it from below. The way I did it was taking the starter out of the way and, because it was kind of stuck, I had to take the oil filter out also, it has an 8mm hex head screw, after taking this out, used a channel lock pliers to pry it out , it might be easier for you, maybe. Just be careful with the new one and not brake the o ring, I applied a dab of oil to get it lubed.

There isn't a MAP (Manifold Air Pressure) sensor on your car. There is however a MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor which is located on the air intake hosing slightly ahead (towards the passenger compartment) of the air filter housing.

Oh, for details, the 442 will NOT have the "Oldsmobile" script (or holes for it) in the left front corner.

Check the "Online Shop Manual" under the "Technical" section at mx-3.com, I think it's under the housing where the radiator return hose leaves the block, but I have 2 spares and have yet to need them, so haven't done it myself.

The 1989-1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme has fairly unique "1/4" side lock" wiper arm attachments. See Sources and Related Links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Its very easy.

The 2 door coupe had a 112" wheelbase. The 4 door sedan had a 116"wheelbase. The Vista Cruiser had a 121" wheelbase.
