What punctuation mark is used for interjections?

We can use an exclamatory mark after the interjection when we express strong feelings. For example "Wow! what a great present."

Here we have used an exclamatory mark because we express a joyful emotion.

But for interjections that express weak or normal feelings, we can use a comma.

For example "No, we were late again."

What is the history of the word gay?

The term gay was originally used, until well into the mid-20th century, primarily to refer to feelings of being "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy". It had also come to acquire some connotations of "immorality" as early as 1637.

The term later began to be used in reference to homosexuality, in particular, from the early 20th century, a usage that may have dated prior to the 19th century. In modern English, gay has come to be used as an adjective, and occasionally as a noun, that refers to the people, practices, and culture associated with homosexuality. By the end of the 20th century the word gaywas recommended by major style guides to describe males attracted to others of the same sex. At about the same time, a new, description of the word has come. Younger generations made the new meaning become rubbish or stupid. (as in "That's so gay") In this new meaning, it does not refer to homosexuality, so that it can be used for looking at an object and will disapprove it. The use of the word "gay" took an ever deeper increase in the 21st Century. It is used dozens of times a day in many Omaha Public Schools.

The term can be found in American literature as early as the 1920s but was not widely used until the mid-1940s.

The term "gay" also means joyous, pleasant, and agreeably charming. Homosexual men were often described using this meaning of the word "gay" due to their personalities. While not all homosexual men are joyous, pleasant, and agreeably charming, enough of them were that they began using this as a slang term to reference their sexuality. Over time, this code word became well known and is now simply a mild label for homosexuality.

Can a revocable trust be changed by a codicil?

Generally, a revocable trust is a living trust. The instrument that created the trust, sometimes called a Declaration of Trust, must set forth all the provisions of the trust including how and if it can be amended. Amendments to a trust must be attached to the original trust instrument. If the trust is recorded in the land records any amendments thereto must be recorded in the land records. Changes to a living trust are called trust amendments.

A testator can also set forth a trust in their will. That type of trust is called a testamentary trust. A testamentary trust can be amended by a codicil.

How do you rewrite the first amendment in fifth grade words?

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Simply put, the first amendmend gives citizens of the U.S. the right to express how they feel with their voices (i.e. freedom of speech). This is not the case in most other countries.

Moreover, it gives us the rights to believe and practice any religion of our choosing (i.e. freedom of religion and choice) even if it is no religion at all.

The clause concerning assemblage protects the peoples' right to organize and attempt the creation new law or to change old law. It also protects our right to organize a workers' strike against a company.

One an be imprisoned and quite possibly executed in other nations for practicing what the U.S.A. recognizes as basic human rights.

When creating laws in America, bills are passed through the Legislative Branch (Congress) first and then sent to the Executive Branch (Presidency) where they are either signed into law or vetoed. Therefore, it's important to realize the grandeur of the amendment's first words as well: Congress shall no law. These words negate the possibility of such a law ever reaching the President--they stop it before it starts.

Assuming that a Trust Maker has died when can a Successor Trustee close or dissolve a living trust?

A well-drafted trust instrument should contain language that directs the manner by which a successor trustee can be appointed and how the trust will be terminated. Those directions must be followed. If the trust document is not clear then a court must make a determination especially if the trust holds title to real estate. You should seek the advice of an attorney who is experienced in trust law.

Should a company be willing to accept a project that requires immediate organizational restructuring If so what factors should it consider?

If there is anything that is steadfast and unchanging, it is change itself. Change is inevitable andorganizations must be flexible and committed to keeping up with change as internal and external driving forces come into play. Organizations that are not flexible or unwilling to change because of a well ingrained traditional way of thinking will become unstable with long-term survivabilityincreasingly becoming more of an issue. That being said, the following - in brief -are just some of the issues to consider.

  • What is the urgency?
  • What are the possible consequences of not taking on the project?
  • Appointing a good solid Project Manager who is well schooled in the project management life-cycle.
  • Cost factors
  • A Risk Management Plan
  • The development of Contingency Planning
  • Employee attitude and resistance to change concerns
  • The development of a SWOT analysis. Looking at the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats of such a project.
  • A PEST analysis which takesinto considerationthe Political, Economic, Social, and Technological environment surrounding the project.
  • Appropriate timing
  • The commitment of senior leadership
  • Project team development

The abovelist are just some of the issues involved and in no particular order. I'm sure others can add onto the above list.

Does a person with an overbite always need braces?

It depends of the severity of the cross bite/overbite/under bite. Also, if you can't decide yourself, consult a certified orthodontist. They will be able to answer any questions that you may have. From personal experience(15 year-old w/ braces for gaps and a slight overbite)I needed them. I have to wear mine for three years, which cost $4200. For you, the price may differ. And again, braces may not be absolutely necessary. If it concerns you that badly, consider getting headgear, and that will clear your problem right up, but braces are need with that as well. Good luck and I hope I was able to clarify a few things.
