The drivers door panel trim is held in place by retaining clips. Gently push on the trim until you hear a click noise. The click noise is the retaining clip securing the trim.

THis works for all the ones I have done but I am not specifically sure of the 2007. So if this does not fix it hopefully someone else will contribute.

In the engine compartment look for the fuse box. Find the one marked EFI and remove the fuse for 30 seconds. THis will clear the faults. If you have not fixed the problem tho the fault light will remain on until the repair is made. Clearing the faults only eliminates what is in the memory, not the actual fault.

loping idle. does not maintain idle, sometimes shuts engine off. do an ohm test.

that info is located on the dryer in the form of a label. but if the system is truly empty there is a problem in the form of some kind of leak. also if it is only low and you add to much the system will freeze up and wont work. good luck

the Mercedes 5.0 liter 500 engine is used in several vehicles and the horsepower is tuned differently for each models application. Typically the horsepower range for that engine is around 300 for example the hp in the G500 is 292. That engine usually carries a torque rating of around 330lb ft the G500 has 336lbft

No you do not have to remove manifold. It is a tight fit to get starter out and then back in again,,,have patience and play the wiggle game,,g luck have fun.

Next to the headlight under the hood, there is a lever with a little button next to it. Press down the button and pull the lever toward the headlight. This is difficult to do, and you will feel like you are going to break something. After pushing the lever completely toward the headlight, the headlight will pop out the front of the car.

Take the lid off the very back of the headlight; it is attached by a plastic lip that will come off fairly easily by pressing down on the tab that comes off the lip. You will now see the bulbs; the one closest to the top is the main headlight (the one further down is the bright). Push the little wire off of the post, and you will release the bulb. Then you can change it.

I swear Volkswagen makes things difficult on purpose.

Just a little added information on the 2001 Beetle passanger headlight replacement. Don't give up! Because I live in the Northeast and it has been four years and never replaced this bulb, things were very dirty. I had to continually move the slide lock back aqn forth until I was able to get it in the complete unlock position. Although it took me about 10 minutes to do this after reading this article. It saved me $85.00 by doing it myself. I am amazed that VW would charge more than $90.00 to replace a $5.50 part.

Also - I've been helped greatly in this process by using a bit of WD-40 on the lever/slide mechanism. I'm with Bob in saying, "don't give up!"

For someone with little mechanic knowledge: run the nuts till they all (ALMOST) touch, turn the motor about A quarter of A turn, run the ones that got loose, Do this about 5 or 6 times. Then start the motor and SLOWLY tighten them till they quiten down, ONE AT A TIME. STOP TURNING AS SOON AS THEY BECOME QUIET, Once they are all silent, Go over each one, Loosen it till it clicks, and retighten ONLY till it quitens again. When all are EVEN and barely tight, Turn each one between A quarter turn and A half. CLOSER TO A QUARTER.

I just changed the relay on my 99 sc2. It is a standard shift and i found the relay by following the wires from the cluch pedal safety switch. But basically on the 99 it is up under the dash on the drivers side taped to the wire harness. It was covered in black electrical tape.
