You probably have torque wrap from driving in 4WD on dry pavement. Get off the pavement and try disengaging.

well the part alone, aftermarket, should cost around $50 or so, depends on what you get, and the labour might be an hour, i dont see it taking long than that. now the price always depends on which shop you take it to. some shops charge 50 bucks and hour, some charge 109 bucks an hour, catch my drift.

Specifically I'm trying to get the wiper to make more solid contact so it wipes the window completely. I've found some forums where other people have the same issue but I haven't found a decent answer, just a lot of useless comments. I suspect a new spring might do it, although it really has never worked very well even since I bought it when it was a year old.

If you are talking about the "VSC Off" light, it means that the button to disengage your cars Vehicle Stability/Skid Control" system is engaged. Press the VSC button, the system should reengage, and the light should turn off.

If you are talking about the other VSC light, it means that your car has been forced to take evasive action to avoid a dangerous situation. For example, if you are driving on an icy road, and take a turn too tight, the vehicle may be forced to apply pressure to one of the brakes to prevent the car from loosing control. In this situation the VSC indicator light will light up to alert you that the action was taken, and remind you to possibly slow down.

The clock is on interior fuse #18 ACC 15 amps it controls car audio, power antenna, clock, and power rear mirror. If the fuse is OK and the clock is dead then it is an internal clock issue.

Well, I am far from a mechanic, but I had some break trouble a while back. I even ended up in a wreck because of it. What happened is the break lines had a clog in them. It s very very extremely important to bleed your breaks very very very well after changing them. You should take it back and have them bleed the breaks again. There is a right way and a wrong way to do it also. Be very careful. You really need good breaks. They are extremely important!

Valve Adjustment Procedure For

To adjust the hydraulic lifters on this engine, position the cam so the tappet being adjusted is in the base circle area. Loosen the adjusting screw until a distinct lash between the rocker arm tip and the valve tip is evident. Carefully turn the adjustment screw until the rocker tip just touches the valve tip. Turn the

adjusting screw in an additional 1.5 turns.

you need to pull the engine. Or if you are so inclined you can drop the tranny. Either way you need to get to the back of the engine and pull the starter plate off the crankshaft. Then remove the old seal and install a new one. When removing the old one just be careful not to scratch the surfaces on the crankshaft. You should be able to slide a pry bar under it ho and get it out. When reinstalling the new one lube it well as recommended. Jonathon

1. Disconnect the cable from the back of the Speedometer.

2. Disconnect it from the Transmission it should be on the driver's side about half way back.

3. Now follow the cable up till you locate where it comes thru the firewall and pull it out.

4. Push the replacement cable thru where the old one came out.

5. Remove the old cable the connect both ends of the new cable and you are done.

Try looking under the steering wheel under a panel there should be a bunch of fuses it should be there.

Stuck thermostat, bad water pump, clogged radiator, defective cooling fan or fan relay, are a few causes.

It is labeled ACC (accessory) and is located under the driver side dash. to the left of the fuel/hood release. 15 amp BLUE fuse, bottom left if i remember correctly!

4" fronts. You would need to get some 4"T speakers for the fronts unless you want to do a little custom work, and even still, you may only be able to attach two mounting screws.

In the rear are 5.25" speakers and a few '91 4Runners had a tweeter as an option in the rear corners of the vehicle.
