I have a '94 4Runner that needed a new mast so I went to http://www.antennamastsrus.com/ and ordered a new one for about $30. The instructions were good and the fix was easy. Although, shortly after install my motor stopped working altogether. I am positive that the new mast didn't cause the problem, I think it needs a new fuse or relay. Hope this helps.

The engine immobilizer is the " kill switch " that will not allow the engine to be started without your key which has a microchip in the top ( the black part of the key ). When the EII Light is flashing it indicates that that part of the alarm system is active and working. If the light does not blink when key is removed THEN it needs to be fixed.
