This happened on my sons 1995 Concorde. We thought it was the turn signal flasher, located under the sterring wheel. It is a black box with alot of wires coming out of it...kind of hard to get to in the small cramped spot. We replaced it and is still didn't work. Took it to the Chrysler Dealer and it turned out to be a wire that had came loose from the battery and the dealer charged me $70 to show me where and to hook it back up. The following are the directions I got from another forum I go to when I need Help. "Remove the black panel from under the driver's side dash (heater duct) and look for a white plastic box between the column and the parking brake, the flasher is a square shaped and about 3" long and made of black plastic like you found out with a 4 or 5 wire harness connection hooked to it (also black), you will need a small screwdriver or a key to slip in between the flasher and it's mount to unclip it and it will slide off the mounting tab. Aftermarket Flashers will not have the mounting slots for remounting, you may need to get a replacement from the dealer or a used one at a wrecking yard if you want to mount the replacement in the same location. Be aware that some models have 4 terminals (usually 93-94 models) and others have 5 terminals (95-up), get the replacement with the correct number of terminals as they do not interchange. I included some digital shots of mine in my LHS but they are in the same location for the Concorde too, might be a little fuzzy but should give you an idea on what you are looking for. The panel that must be removed to gain access And the flasher. Note mine is a 4 wire, yours may or may not be a 5 wire."

Incandescent light bulbs need high current at low voltage.

"Static" electricity is low or zero current at extremely high voltage. So no, you can't use it to light up an incandescent bulb. If you had some way to step the current up and step down the voltage, then maybe you could do it.

However, if you rub a fluorescent tube with newspaper or with cloth, the tube will flash. Fluorescent tubes need high voltage to work. Perform this trick in a darkened room so you don't miss the dim light. (This trick needs a dry environment. So do it in an airconditioned room. During humid weather it may not work!)

Also, you can use "static" or high-voltage electricity to light up a small neon pilot bulb. Some hardware or electronic stores sell these lights. Look for tiny "NE-2" or "NE-83" bulbs. If you hold one wire of the neon bulb, then scuff your shoes on the carpet, then touch the other wire against a large metal object, the bulb will give an orange flash. Instead of creating a spark, you created an orange glow in neon gas.

The turn signal flasher is under the dashboard mounted on the lower corner of the fuse panel.

the unit is under the steering column.actually its stuck on the steering column and its a black plug

The 1994 Chevrolet S 10 Blazer turn signal flasher switch can be found beneath the drivers side dashboard. The turn signal flasher switch will be above the gas pedal.

A turn signal will be activated once you engage it, to do so is very simple. Usually it is a control built in to a small lever that is on either side of the steering wheel column. To activate all you do is push the lever down to activate the right turn signal and push the lever up to activate the left turn signal. Happy driving

your problem could be a bad bulb (front or back) or it may be a bad flasher cube which is located usually where your fuse block is. hope this helps. good luck

Check the relay.

Turn signals work off of a flasher. Replace the flasher they are usually cheap. If that does not fix it check the signal switch. That is the thing that you use to turn on the turn signals. That is usually the problem.

There is no relay. The flasher in under the dash on the left of the steering column

The flash control unit is located on the fuse panel in the glove-box. The problem may be a faulty switch, though, like mine had. That latterr not an easy fix, though, because it involves gaining access to inside the steering column.

There are actually two flasher units in a 1992 Chevy lumina, one is in fact in the glove box panel, but that is for the hazard flashers, there is also another one tucked up underneath the panels by the gas and brake pedals, its the last panel under there closest to the firewall, feel around up there for a little clip, its pretty hidden, and that's the one for the blinkers.

a bulb is bad and must be replaced

First raise the hood. You will see two separate plastic light housings, one containing the headlamp, and the other the parking light and turn signal bulb. There is a plastic thumb screw on the turn signal housing that you must totally unscrew. Remove it and put is someplace safe while you continue. Gently pull the turn signaly assembly straight out towards the front. You may have to tug on it a bit, but remember these things are plastic and expensive, so be careful. There are two plastic tongues on the assembly you are trying to remove that fit into a couple of slots back behind, and if you're lucky they will slide out. If they don't slide out like they are supposed to then put it back together and take it to the dealer. If the assembly does pop out correctly, just twist the bulb socket out, turn the bulb and insert the new replacement.

The 1983 v65 magna "Winker cancel unit" or "Cancel unit" or "Turn signal Cancel unit" Honda part number 35220-MB4-005 is located inside the fuse box below the headlight, looks like a small black box about half the size of a deck of playing cards.

the flasher relays are located next to the fuse block. they are short cylinders. the top cylinder is the emergency flasher and the bottom cylynder is the turn signal flasher.

Sunfires have what they call a "convenience center" where the flashers are located. The C. center is supposed to be located in or at the driver's side kick panel in the footwell. If not there, it might be inside the steering wheel housing. Turn on something that flashes and listen for the flasher sound.

Start by removing the driver's door. Place it to the side, you will need it later. Drive your car to the Caddy dealer and pay them $200. It's a hell of alot easier. Caddilac has done an absolutely horrible job for anyone to work on the simple things.

check the flashers.. sould be a round fuse sorta thing

if you take the bottom plastic panel from under the dash board under the stearing wheel ( 4 torx bit screws and 2 small 8 mm bolts by the cigerate lighter and ashtray take this panel off and you will see the flashers just to the left of the ashtray

This depends on your problem. A couple questions in this faq deal with this already. If your hazards come on but don't flash, just stay solidly lit, then most likely it's the flasher relay.
