How do you change the bulb in the front turn signal lamp outside of 99 Dakota?
There are 2 little screws holding the turn signal assemblies in. Take these out. Then there are plastic tabs that hook behind headlight to hold it in. Carefully push back on tabs and pull out assembly. Replace bulbs and reassemble.
either a bad fixture or a loose connection. if its a light fixture first check the obvious - replace bulb with a known good one. next turn off switch and remove fixture exposing the wiring. remove wire nuts and put a volt meter across the black and white wires [dont let them touch!!!]. if you dont have a meter use a lamp or radio and fasten the plug to the wires being very careful to keeping them from touching. place something non conducting between the prongs after connecting the wires to the plug and then and only then turn the switch on. you should get juice to the temporary appliance. if so replace the fixture with a new one. if its just a lighting fixture usually all it is is a bad switch. take it apart and take it to home depot or lowes which usually will exact replacement parts. always remember to keep switch or better yet the breaker off while having any wires exposed and turn on breaker only after wire nuts securely in place and hands out of harms way. lots of luck.

Why would your turn signals not work on the rear of your truck when the headlights are on?
Generally, the tail "light" and the tail light "blinker" are two different bulbs. Check the blinker bulb first. If it is OK, then it is likely a fuse to a flasher unit.
What are the differences between regular lights and LED lights?
Regular lights (assuming you are referring to automotive applications here) are "incandescent" bulbs which have the following features...
Create light by "trying" to burn out the filament (no oxygen inside the bulb prevents the burnout from happening).
Get very hot (see burnout above).
Use lots of electricity for the amount of light produced.
are fragile (weakened by physical shock and vibration).
Inexpensive to replace.
Burn out (always).
LED (stands for Light Emitting Diode) lights have the following features... Low power consumption (consumes milli-amps instead of amps) for the amount of light produced. Runs cool to the touch, even if on for a very long time. Virtually impervious to physical shock and vibration (is a solid-state device) Much, much more expensive than regular bulbs and usually require replacement of entire lamp assembly if they fail.
Generally last much much longer than regular bulbs, they get dimmer with age instead of outright burning out. Will not tolerate a voltage spike (such as can come from jump starting vehicle or failure of a voltage regulator while lights on or even from arc welding directly on the vehicle) and can fail outright if exposed to one.
Hope this helps.
Why do the hazard lights blink when break?
if you mean: "why do hazard lights flash when brakes are on", then the answer is because vehicles are equipped with a hazard light relay that supercedes the brake lights. This way, slow moving vehicles can operate under hazard lighting.
What makes the blinker sound when blinker is activated?
The turn signal flasher is what makes the noise and lets the turn signal flash.
Remove the tail light assembly from the vehicle to a work bench. Use a rotary tool such as a Dremel with a small grinding tip to grind away the deformed red plastic housing. Be careful not to damage the bulb socket. Turn the socket as necessary to line up the three tabs and continue grinding the housing until there is enough plastic removed to pull the bulb and socket free. Clean up the melted area removing disformed plastic until you have restored a relatively flat area to remount the socket. Replace the bulb with a new one now even if it's not burned out. Don't cheap out and put the old one back in at this point. It's a good idea to apply some dielectric grease which could help prevent high resistance and further melting. Normally, there is the bulb and socket will still tighen enough to stay in place. You may find, however , that the rubber seal is no longer effective in sealing the lens from water leakage due to warping of the plastic. Use some silicon caulking or "Draft Stop" type caulking to waterproof the unit and help secure the socket. If this all sounds too complicated, reach deep in your pockets for the dough for a new lens assembly. Then sell that Ford Focus before the ignition lock , transmission, wiring harness problems, broken coil springs, etc , etc, cost you more than you ever thought was possible. Replace front turn signal light 2005 Toyota Camry?
Easy. Open the hood. Find the windshield fluid reservoir. Look about six inches to the left. The passenger side turn signal socket is under the fender. Turn is counter clockwise and pull it out. I think the bulb pulls out but not sure. The driver side turn signal is located at the end of the "relay/fuse box. It is a little harder to get out but you can do it........................... You can otherwise get in via the wheel arch plastic and the fron fender plastic in the wheel arch space. Sit on the ground next to the wheel, undo a screw and one or two plastic rivets to make a sepperation, then get your hand up in there. Temparerally moving the radiator overflow bottle off it's bracket might give you more room. The back opf the bulb is righte there to twist out of it's caverty. Replace screw and rivetts to the wheel arch.

How do you replace the front turn signal bulb located on a 2001 Ford F-150?

These pull straight up and allow you to pull out the headlight/turn signal unit. Twist the turn signal housing 1/4 turn CCW to expose the bulb and replace. Or, take it to the dealer and let them do it.
How do you replace the front turn signal bulb located on a 2000 Honda civic?
* For driver's side bulb replacement, first turn front wheels all the way right. Do the opposite for passenger side replacement. * At the front wheel well directly behind the bulb you want to replace, locate the wheel well liner fastener. On the driver's side it will be at the 10 o'clock position, on the passenger side, it'll be at the 2 o'clock position.
* Insert the blade of a flat blade screwdriver into the slot on the fastener and GENTLY pry the head up so that it's raised about 3/16" above the body of the fastener. Remove the screwdriver and using your hand, remove the fastener from the wheel well liner. You should only have to remove this one fastener.
* The wheel well liner is flexible, pry it back so that you can see and reach the rear of the headlight assembly. You should be able to see the wiring going into the turn signal bulb.
* Reach in a grasp the plastic terminator where the turn signal bulb wires end. The bulb is held in place with a bayonet-type fastening, twist gently to unlock it and pull the bulb and wires back and out of the headlight assembly. * Replace the bulb. Avoid touching the glass of the bulb with your bare hand. * Replace the bulb/wire assembly into the headlight housing, making sure it's seated firmly and locked in place. * Test * Re-insert the wheel well liner fastener and push down on the head to lock it in place.

What does it mean when the rear brake light does not work and the turn signal flashes fast?
Usually when ones turn signal is blinking fast its telling you that a turn signal bulb (and in some cases a brake light bulb) is out. If it blinks fast when you turn on the the left signal the burnt out bulb is on that side of the vehicle (could be front or rear bulb so you'll have to check). And vice versa
