How is nanotechnology used in the treatment of breast cancer?

Current nano-technology is limited to the use of making smaller sized particles in drug and chemical treatments.

Nano sized particles are able to target and destroy cancer cells faster than normal sized drug particles and with less damage to surrounding tissue cells.

For example both Doxil and Abraxane enable more targeted delivery of existing chemotherapy through a special coating that evades attack by a persons immune system; this allows a more precise delivery of drugs to the cancer cells, while simultaneously reducing the side effects

In this case nano simply implies smaller than micro and refers to the size at which the drugs and chemicals are being manipulated; it does not refer to nano-bots (which would just mean robots smaller than micro)

Incorrect Answer:

The nanobots are equipped with a vaccine or a 'weapon' that can kill cancer cells. It is then injected into you and can either be controlled by doctors or has artificial intelligence, and can wipe out the cancer cells.

(This is science fiction; modern science has yet to fully develop usable nano-bots on this small a scale)

What would your sexual life be like after menopause when menstruation has ended?

It will probably be improved, since you no longer need to worry about pregnancy. If there is some vaginal dryness, your doctor can prescribe estrogen creams or you can use over the counter lubricants (KY, Astrolube). The best thing is that, for most of us, children are gone and we have time to play.

Why is it difficult to get aroused after child birth?

After childbirth, hormonal changes, physical and emotional stress, lack of sleep, and body image concerns can all contribute to difficulty in getting aroused. Additionally, the physical trauma that can occur during delivery may also play a role in decreased arousal. It is important to give yourself time and patience as your body recovers and adjusts to postpartum changes.

Is it possible for a 41 year old woman to regrow a hymen if she has not had any sexual relationship for the past 13 years following childbirth?

No, the hymen does not regrow. However, a long abstinence from sex may make it feel like you are having sex for the first time again. Take it slow, lots of foreplay will help with natural lubication or you can puchase artificial lubricant in the drug store. It may also be hard to relax if you have not had sex for some time, trusting your partner and having a patient, esxperienced partner will help. If he is unusually large, that will also make it more difficult to become sexually active again. Most women don't begin having menopausal symptoms until later in life but it can happen at your age, this can cause vaginal dryness and pain with intercouse, along with hot-flashes, mood swings and decreased libido. If this is a possiblity, estrogen vaginal cream can correct this. In rare instances, you may need to slowly dilate the vagina, starting with small round lubricated instuments such as a candle, and progress to larger objects as tolerated, until you can tolerate an object the size of a penis.

Is there a way to reduce discharge?

If you have a vaginal discharge you probably have a vaginal infection, particularlly if there is an odor. A yeast infection causes a white thick discharge and may cause itching. Hemophilus vaginitis can cause a greyish discharge with a "fishy" odor. Trichomoniasis is a STD that causes itching and burning. If you have a discharge, see your doctor it is not normal. Do not douche before you see the doctor, he will need to check the discharge to see what is causing it. If you douche too much this can cause a discharge. You actually never have to douche, douching can rinse away the normal vaginal fluids and the body will secrte more to replace them creating a vicious cycle, so stop douching.

Is too much clear sticky discharge bad for a woman?

Not at all. Your vaginal discharge changes throughout your menstrual cycle. What you're describing sounds like spinnbarkeit or eggwhite cervical fluid. It is produced during the 3-4 days prior to ovulation and signals that unprotected sex during this time may lead to pregnancy.

What happens if you never have an IUD removed?

Purportedly, an IUD that remains in the uterus beyond its recommended term can become embedded in the uterine wall. If this happens, there is an increased risk of bleeding, scarring, and pelvic infection.

The probability of this risk is undocumented, however. Moreover, an embedded IUD may not, in itself, represent a health risk independent of the trauma of removal.

The sperm itself will not change locations through osmosis... but any bacteria or virus that travels with it will more easily end up in your blood stream through rectal walls, just because they tear more easily than vaginal walls. However, vaginal tissues tear as well. HIV travels through the tiniest cracks. It is always good to assume the worst.

Some of then are jerks because of too much male ego and some of them because they think they can take over the world. In the end you should know not all men are jerks and not all jerks are attractive.

When should a girl shave her armpits?

I think that You shudnt shave just after U get your hair on your underarms. you should let ur underarm hair fully grow first. After 1 or 2 years, your armpits hair will tend to get bushy-but this is natural and when it does start to get hairy, this is the right time your should start shaving. After you've shaved your armpits and you've gt the hang of it- You might want to try waxing. Shaving makes your hair come out more blacker and more thicker and it will come out more faster- and waxing will not make ur hair come out as fast as shaving. This could take up tp 4 months for waxed armpit hair to come out, and 1 month for shave armpit hair to come out.

Is there negative effects from a girl shaving armpit hair?

Shaving armpit hair can cause skin irritation, redness, ingrown hairs, and sensitivity, especially if not done correctly. It can also lead to a higher frequency of shaving as the hair grows back quickly, resulting in potential damage to the skin over time.

Are women are better parents than men?

Answer 1

Wide generalizations are usually not very productive. There are far more women raising children than men. Therefore it would make sense that there are a higher number of excellent female parents than male. However, this generation of parents has witnessed a sea change in the role of fathers as caretakers. There are many men who are excellent parents, who have taken on an active role in child rearing, child care and sharing domestic duties.

Answer 2

Women are usually better parents, but, it's generally because the father has to work and sometimes work late hours or shiftwork and therefore they spend less time with their children. Women are more nurturing than men. Nonetheless I've seen some pretty great dads out there that are active with their children's sports whether they are daughters or sons. Sometimes there are single fathers that are doing the duties of the mother and do an excellent job of being both parents.

Answer 3

Both men and women can make equally better parents or have the capacity to be for their children.

However, a parent really needs to understand, respect, and have time to spend with their children. Listening to them is also important as well as giving them boundaries for their own privacy. Sometimes parents can be suffocating and over-protective. While on other occasions they can be quite selfish and overly critical. It depends on the personalities of parents and their relationship with children. What works for one parent won't necessarily work for another. These days men and women have quite overlapping roles as parents and the one that is usually better is the one that the children respond to in a more positive way. A better parent also provides not only a sense of safety but also instills a set of core values so when their children grow up they can not only be productive in society but also have the necessary understanding about respecting people of other cultures and backgrounds. Some parents never bother to teach their kids about respecting women either which should all be part of the core value system for parenting.
