How do you remove the ignition cylinder on a 1994 Toyota pickup?

I had to deal with this problem not long ago. I removed it by drilling away the pin that is at the bottom of the casing. Once the pin has been drilled all you have to do is pull it out. In order to get this done I bought a drill bit at the Home Depot (a California hardware store) and used it along a high speed Dremmel drill. I took out the whole steering wheel assembly in order to do it quicker. If you do this, don't forget to mark the steering wheel location before removal and also to use safety glasses when drilling.

Put the engine at top dead center cylinder #1 by removing the plug and bringing the piston to the top. Mark the balancer and timing cover where ever is easier to see. Use an advancing timing light set at 10* and turn the distributor until both marks meet.
