you have to remove the glovebox entirely. when you do there will be a fairly large plastic box exposed. on that box you'll see a small door or hatch (approx 2"x8") there may be tabs to push in or a little tab sticking out that you can pull on to remove the door. inside is a small drawer that holds the filter. replace it the same way it came out.
Where is the cabin air filter on a 2001 millenia and how do you replace it?
How do you remove the throttle body to clean it?
The throttle body on most cars I've seen is fairly simple to remove. You'll need a socket set, and some spanners, and a couple of new gaskets. Go to your local auto parts and ask for the gaskets needed for your throttle body, and you should have no trouble picking them up. First things first, remove the cables (up to 3) from the throttle opener. They should just unclip. Place the ends aside, remembering where they came from. Remove any hoses and wires connected to the body, being careful to label them so they go back to the right spot. Remove any brackets and mounts around the throttle body that get in your way. Unscrew the bolts holding the throttle body to the inlet manifold, then remove. Remove all traces of the old gasket from the inlet manifold. Once the throttle body has been cleaned using carburettor cleaner, reinstallation is the exact reversal of removal, ensuring to replace all the gaskets, and put the hoses, wires and cables back where they came from.
Is the ignition going through the intake manifold dodge 5.2 ram?
Igniton goes from the key to the starter in a general sense. The intake manifold brings air into the engine aka "air intake". Spark (ignition) eventually occurs at the spark plugs.

How do you replace 92 prelude si head gasket?
For my "87 Prelude, replacement of the head gasket involves A LOT of work. A MANUAL IS REQUIRED (i.e. Chilton's). All removed screws, bolts, nuts, hoses, gaskets, and parts must be carefully organized or you're going to have a nightmare trying to get everything back together. Removal and replacement of AT LEAST the following is required: intake manifold, exhaust manifold, valve cover, timing belt, timing belt cover, alternator belt, a/c belt, power steering belt, spark plugs, engine oil. The engine must be set at Top Dead Center and kept there until reassembled. Great care must be taken to prevent dirt and objects from getting into the cylinders once the head is removed. The head bolts must be removed carefully and it is recommended that the head stud holes be rethreaded prior to reinstallation of the head. Also, it is a good idea to replace the head studs or it may be required (call dealer's part dept.). While doing this, it is wise to replace the water pump and timing belt while you've got everything off. Once the head is off, it should be taken to a service center (i.e. NAPA) for reconditioning. This will extend the life of your engine and help it operate like A ROCKET! It is foolish to not service the head while it is off the engine. The cam gasket should be replaced as well so it won't leak oil on your new timing belt. There are more items I probably left out as well as further items that can be done so you do this once and not have to do it twice, like I did. How do you replace the air filter located on a 2003 Buick Century?
Open the hood. Go to the driver's side. Look down right behind the driver's headlight. There is a rectangular black box with 5" Inch air intake made of a plastic bellows material. Sticking out of the box. On the top of the box (filter housing) there are 2 clips on the Undo those clips. You will notice that you can open the housing a little and you can see the filter seal. You will also note that the filter still can not be removed from the housing. You will need to remove the entire cover you have to get the air filter out. To do this you should take the air intake duct out of the way to remove the entire face plate. Simply take the duct work off the filter housing by loosening the hose clamp that hold it in place. Once you take that off just move the duct work out of the way. (it will flex) Now pull up on the cover towards you. Pull the filter out and replace it. Put it all back together by doing the complete oposit and you are finished!

An ionizer filters the air by vacuuming the air in the system and forcing it through the water. The water then removes the dirt dust and germ particles.
Where is the air filter on a 92 Honda Accord and how do you replace it?
The air filter is inside a black plastic "box" located just above the battery. All you have to do is unscrew the lid fo the container and pull the filter out. The new filter, and lid, should only fit one way, so you shouldn't need to worry about putting it in wrong. The is a picture of the air filter casing, and its location, in your manual.

How much should it cost to replace an intake gasket on a 2000 Malibu or can it be done yourself?
The gasket shouldn't cost more than $50-60, but taking the manifold off to replace the gasket could take upwards of 6-8 hours, IF you have a fair idea of what you're doing.
Intake gasket replacements generally run between $600-900.
That is about right. I have performed several and in the process of another gasket job now on 2000 Malibu. It is quite common on the 3.1 & 3.4 liter V6 lower intake gaskets to break right in the corner of the water jacket section.
If you have not performed anything remotely close, I would not recommend it simply for the fact that the gaskets are located behind the pushrods. That means you have to remove them and reset the preloads on each pushrod in the lifter.
Also to do the job properly, you should replace both the upper/lower gaskets, valve cover gaskets, thermostat and multiple seals especially the tube going into the thermostat housing from the rear.
What is the purpose of a Chevy Intake Manifold?
Chevy Intake Manifolds are used in the internal combustion engine of Chevrolet vehicles. It aids in providing fuel and air to the cylinders of the car.
When looking at a v6 3100 engine how do you tell what is the intake and what is the exhaust?
The intake portion of the 3100 starts where the throttle body (where the accelerator cable attaches) attaches to the plenum (upper intake), below the plenum is the lower intake. The exhaust manifolds are between where the Exhaust pipe connects to and attaches to the cylinder head. The first answer is great, but here's some more as I have just finished replacing the intake manifolds on my 1997 Pontiac GrandAm with the 3.1L engine. First of all, this is a two-piece manifold which is unusual, the first one I've see like this.... This engine is a 60 degree V configuration, and the lower intake manifold bolts directly onto both heads, essentially filling in the center of the "V", and providing air/fuel to the head intake ports. Its mostly obscured by the upper intake manifold that bolts directly to the lower portion. The upper and lower intake manifolds are cast aluminium. The exhaust manifolds are each on the outside of the "V", and bolt directly to the heads. They are cast iron (usually rusty iron color), and are covered by silver sheet-metal heat shields. There is a crossover pipe that connects them to a collector which connects to the rest of the exhaust system.
