If it a piece of metal or any hard object that cold damage the engine, you need to remove the intake manifold and then remove the object. Unless it is a very tiny soft object, you need to get it out.

im actually doin that job now....they say that around about 120k it starts to leak..i spent $200 for the gasket st and $30 for the new head bolts...im just going to change the head and intake gaskets..and saving myself $1000....yayyy me

check ur fuel filter and if that's good its time for a tune up.

The best way to find out is go to your local auto parts store, ask for a haynes or chiltons manual on your vehicle. This will tell you everything you need to know about working on your vehicle. It is located near the intake manifold, it monitors manifold pressure. If it's the 3.1L engine, it's mounted to the rear of the intake manifold between the engine and the firewall of the vehicle. If you have a code setting for the map sensor, make sure the plastic lines that go to the sensor are not broken or disconnected first before buying any parts.

The cabin air filter on a 2003 Chevy 2500HD is located inside the car. It is in the HVAC housing under the passenger side dash.

As you don't say which vehicle all I can suggest is that your motor may be fitted with Hydraulic lifters If so these need to be collapsed prior to refitting If they are not collapsed they will Jack up and cause the valves to remain open I hope this post helps a little Best wishes

YES The cabin filter is behind the glove box. On the right of the glove box is a support that has a loop that attaches with around a pin that part of the glove box. Remove the loop (no tools needed). Then grasp the back and the front of the box and squeeze them toward each other. This will allow you to pull out the entire glove box and see the door to the cabin air filter(air conditioning filter).

to replace the intake gasket would be about 4 hours labor. parts would run about $50

Hello I hope I can help, I've been try to find My Tempeture sensor and I came across the PCV valve It's located on the top of the engine on the passenger side. If you change your spark plug wires you go right by it when you send the rear wires to the back. It located in the back side of the engine on the passenger side. You'll need a light. It's there OK! be positive.

Some Grand Caravans have a air filter and some do not. I got excited about the notion of a filter and went to the dealer and was told my van did not have a filter. The person at the dealer's parts counter was kind enough to pull the part and show me where it would go (air box above the passenger's feet) had my van been so equiped.

on the right side of the engine you will see the air box, you will see that it is being held in place by four screws so grab a screwdriver or wrench and remove them, when removed lift towards engine and remove filter, place new filter and reapply screws.

If it has one, it's behind the glove box. That's where it's at on my 2003 4Runner and 2008 Tundra.
