In the master cylinder. The same place it's located in a 1998 Buick or any other other car for that matter. I imagine you're asking where the brake fluid master cylinder is because that's where all brake fluid is stored until it's pushed down the brake lines (which, by the way are also filled with brake fluid all the time). What you're looking for is the power brake vacuum device is is on the firewall between the engine and interior on the front of the car. It's usually on the driver's side.

brake fluid doesn't have the viscosity that motor oil does and it will not lubricate engine parts properly. It would definetely cause some major damage at some point.

The brake fluid master-cylinder cap usually specifies the correct type brake fluid for the vehicle. It is embossed in the warning statement on the cap. If the vehicle's master=cylinder cap does not have a warning statement there is usually a label near the cap that details the brake fluid information. The information is also typically in the owners manual under fluids and maintenance. I believe this vehicle should use DOT 3 brake fluid.

First of all your brake fluid resivoir is located back under the grated part of the hood that is located just beyond your hood toward the windsheild, what I do is to get a transmission funnel and pour slowly, Make sure that you have repaired the problem in the brakeing system prior to finishing filling the resevoir. I hope this works for you. NOTE: You may need to take the windshield wiper control arm off if you don't have the Transmission funnel.

Brake fluid in the oil won't be much of a problem. It probably won't hurt anything, but to be on the safe side, just change the oil. In the power steering pump it will be harder to get out. You'll have to disconnect the high pressure line and let it pump out, then re-fill it with power steering fluid.

You need to use Honda power sterring fluid. It say so on the power sterring cap inside the hood. I would recommend Honda brake fluid as well to be sure.

Not an answer - an additional question. My Toyota dealer tells me my brake fluid is dirty (on my newly-acquired 2005 Corolla), and he wants to charge me $175.00 to flush my brake fluid. That strikes me as outrageous! What is involved other than draining fluid and replacing it just like changing the oil? My (non-mechanic) husband asks how the brake fluid can get dirty in the first place. It's not running through the engine like oil does . . (Also he wants $175.00 to flush the transmission . . .)

For that year things are pretty strait forward. First, remove the old master making sure that there is no damage to the lines and fittings. Next, if you have a bench vise or way to clamp the new master on a bench that will help. Fill the new master with fresh d.o.t. 3 or 4 close the lid and with the master clamped in the vise and the exit line blocked ( use old fitting with the end of a small line crimped to block the exit or out flow ports ) push in the rod all the way and then bleed the 2 ports. This is called bench bleeding to get any air out of the master. Make sure to always top up the master. A couple of times should do the trick. Then install the master in place. You will have to bleed the 4 wheels after this. Start with the furthest from the master to the closest. Check pedal after. Job done.

All, master cylinder, brake calipers, and wheel cylinders, must be flushed out. Motor oil causes the seals to swell and lock up brakes.

First be sure the parking brake is fully released, then if the light is still on and the reservoir is now full, you have air in the system and probably should have the brakes inspected because you shouldn't have had an empty reservoir in the first place.

You could be plugged, maybe there is air in the lines, could have a leak somewheres in the lines or other 3 breaks.
