it is between the fire wall and passenger motor under intake manifold closer to passenger side i think it is a Valvoline v-111 but can be done with a cap wrench filter tool it was difficult to do from the top

Its in front of the engine, behind the radiator. One bolt you can reach from the bottom and the other has to be reached from the top after you take off the breather hose going to the airbox. Both bolts that hold it on are 15mm, the solenoid nut is either a 13mm or a 15mm for the big one, and a 8mm or 5/16 for the small one.

if you try to start the car an it sounds like it wants to turn over but it doesn't instead it sounds like its out of gas than that should be a sign of a bad fuel pump. which really aren't cheap if it is out make sure you shop around alot cause mines went out on a 2002 buick regal an they charged me way to much the part in it self was almost 300 i wanna say around 250 than the labor was a killer but i shopped around an i got pepboys to put the price down on meinekie an i guess it worked out okay still it was 600 dollars good luck
