Fuses [and Circuit Breakers] are designed into electrical circuits TO PROTECT the conductors [wires] in the circuit from overheating, damaging themselves and other adjacent wires, and possibly causing a FIRE! NEVER, NEVER, EVER substitute a larger ["higher"] rated fuse or breaker. This is an invitation for potentially disasterous results. When a fuse "blows" indicates either a short circuit or an overload [drawing too much current (measured in Ampheres, commonly callled Amps)] somewhere in the circuit. When replacement fuses/breakers repeatedly fails indicates that the fault is not transitory, but permantent until the cause is corrected [repaired]. All of the wires, switches, electrical devices in the circuit must be checked out until the fault has been found, and removed or repaired. Again, NEVER replace a blown fuse or tripped breaker with one with a larger current rating!

You have to take it to a mechanic i guess since it doesn't have a dipstick.

There is an 02 sensor on the exhaust manifold, which is called a "before-the-cat" 02 sensor since it is before the catalytic converter. You need to unplug it's connector from the side of the engine block. Then, after warming the car up to operating temperature, use an 02 sensor wrench which you can borrow from Autozone, and unscrew it. BE CAREFUL! The Exhaust Manifold is EXTREMELY hot and you will be BURNED if you touch it with your hands. Unfortunately these sensors are meant to operate at a high temp, so you need to unscrew them and screw them back in while the engine is hot. That's it. There's also some goop that I think you put on the new one so that you can remove it later. 02 sensors can be expensive. So make sure you are replacing the correct one.

There is another 02 sensor underneath the car on the exhaust pipe just before the catalytic converter, so right below the engine. You'll also need to warm up the car first and lie on your back, but this guy won't be as hot as the manifold up top. No matter what, be careful and have a buddy there with you to help as you need it. Wear eye protection, etc.

To my knowledge the car must be taken to a dealer to change the fluid and serviced. **BETTER WAY** The best and most common way is to remove the spedo gear. . It sits above the DIF housing and only has one screw nd comes out reall easy. . . I hate these fags, the manual said to check the level on a flat surface nd all, but when i did it i got a load of the worst smelling oil all ova me. . ;( Gave me a reason to overhaul the gearbox tho. . .

Check Ignition switch. Does your speedo or tach work? If not it's the ignition switch. The transmission needs 12volts to operate and if the ignition switch is not working right you will not have first gear or overdrive, the suburban will try to take off in second and seems like your tranny is slipping!

yes,it is an interference motor.I just did one and it bent all the intake valves.

undo all 3 11mm bolts on headlight case. . Unplug the 2 plugs on back of headlight. . ull feel a button "clip" that when pushed lets u disconnect the cables. . u can do this after wrigling out the headlight abit. . . Once the unit is out unscrew that big cap. . unclip headlight socket and take out headlight and DO NOT TOUCH!! unleas its broken and u dont want to keep it. . Insert new headlight into the socket and clip back in (make sure its clean though!!) Wriggle headlight unit back in place PATIENTLY. . no easy way of explaining of how to get the b***h back on really easily
