When replacement fuses/breakers repeatedly fails indicates that the fault is not transitory, but permantent until the cause is corrected [repaired]. All of the wires, switches, electrical devices in the circuit must be checked out until the fault has been found, and removed or repaired. Again, NEVER replace a blown fuse or tripped breaker with one with a larger current rating!

There is an 02 sensor on the exhaust manifold, which is called a "before-the-cat" 02 sensor since it is before the catalytic converter. You need to unplug it's connector from the side of the engine block. Then, after warming the car up to operating temperature, use an 02 sensor wrench which you can borrow from Autozone, and unscrew it. BE CAREFUL! The Exhaust Manifold is EXTREMELY hot and you will be BURNED if you touch it with your hands. Unfortunately these sensors are meant to operate at a high temp, so you need to unscrew them and screw them back in while the engine is hot. That's it. There's also some goop that I think you put on the new one so that you can remove it later. 02 sensors can be expensive. So make sure you are replacing the correct one.
There is another 02 sensor underneath the car on the exhaust pipe just before the catalytic converter, so right below the engine. You'll also need to warm up the car first and lie on your back, but this guy won't be as hot as the manifold up top. No matter what, be careful and have a buddy there with you to help as you need it. Wear eye protection, etc.
I don't know of any others on this particular car but there may be.

To my knowledge the car must be taken to a dealer to change the fluid and serviced. **BETTER WAY** The best and most common way is to remove the spedo gear. . It sits above the DIF housing and only has one screw nd comes out reall easy. . . I hate these fags, the manual said to check the level on a flat surface nd all, but when i did it i got a load of the worst smelling oil all ova me. . ;( Gave me a reason to overhaul the gearbox tho. . .
Check Ignition switch. Does your speedo or tach work? If not it's the ignition switch. The transmission needs 12volts to operate and if the ignition switch is not working right you will not have first gear or overdrive, the suburban will try to take off in second and seems like your tranny is slipping!

When under the car u should be able to locate the starter motor near the RHS of the gearbox where the drive shaft comes out to the wheel. .
Once found i believe from memory its a 12 or 13mm bolt.

I am currently changing (or trying to change) the heater matrix on a 2000 Matiz. I'd like to add to the above that there is no need to split the black box. You can simply slide the matrix out of the back of the box. There are two plastic 'hooks' at the back that hold it in place.
For me the biggest challenge is loosening the two radiator hoses from the matrix. These can only be reached via the engine compartment. But then the engine is in the way. Does anyone have an idea how to solve that?

Hi- I have just removed the entire dashboard to get at the matrix. You don't need a puller for the steering wheel - just bang the wheel a few times with a rubber mallet and then give a big pull - it will come off - honest. You can then remove the dashboard and the metal frame in front of the the heater unit and if you undo the 4 bolts securing it (the heater unit)to the bulk head it just lifts out leaving the matrix sticking out in mid air. You need a hose clip removal tool (flexible) to undo the hose clips in the engine bay - they are murder to get at with a pair of pliers - I have tried. You can buy them on eBay for about £20. NB you need the correct size torx bit to undo the airbags on both sides and you need the anti-tamper version which is quite rare. You do not need to remove the control stalks by the way, just the steering wheel. The dash will just fit over the stalks. Make sure you have the torx bit (its a 40 or a 45 I think) and the hose clamp tool before you try this job or you will not get it done in one go.

undo all 3 11mm bolts on headlight case. . Unplug the 2 plugs on back of headlight. . ull feel a button "clip" that when pushed lets u disconnect the cables. . u can do this after wrigling out the headlight abit. . . Once the unit is out unscrew that big cap. . unclip headlight socket and take out headlight and DO NOT TOUCH!! unleas its broken and u dont want to keep it. . Insert new headlight into the socket and clip back in (make sure its clean though!!) Wriggle headlight unit back in place PATIENTLY. . no easy way of explaining of how to get the b***h back on really easily

The radio code feature of Daewoo models (sold in the US from 1998 - 2001 as Leganza, Nubira, and Lanos) is meant to be an anti-theft security feature, but unfortunately it can also present a problem to legimate owners when their car batteries have died or been replaced. When the radio is removed from the power source (or the power source is interrupted), the radio will reset itself (prevent any use) and flash "CODE" until the proper code is entered.
Each radio has a specific four-digit code, which was originally provided on a plastic card within the owner's manual kit. New owners were encouraged to remove the card and keep in a safe place outside the car (eg home). Since these cards may be lost over time (or perhaps not passed along when the car was sold used), that leaves today's owner in a tough spot.
To obtain your code... You can try calling Daewoo Motor America (the company still operates a HQ in CA for service/parts/warranty purposes); their website is still www.daewoous.com. You can also try calling your original Daewoo dealer, who hopefully still has some technical materials and personnel to help you identify your unique code. Some General Motors dealers may be able to help, as GM acquired Daewoo and still sells Daweoo-made cars in the US under their Pontiac and Chevy brands. But all methods above may be difficult for an individual detailed problem such as obtaining your unique radio code.

I am posting these because - although the code feature was a valuable anti-theft feature - there have been no models sold in the US since late 2001, and the radios are now undoubtly worthless to theives. At this point, the radio code feature can only be a major nusance to an owner of a still-running used Daewoo. Good luck and enjoy your car!
