First start with the removal procedure; Disconnect the negative battery cable, the air cleaner outlet hose from the throttle body and the breather tube from the camshaft cover. Then remove the air cleaner housing, the right front wheel and the right front wheel well splash shield. Remove the serpentine accessory drive belt and the crankshaft bolts and pulley. Then remove the upper front timing belt cover bolts and the upper front timing belt cover. Continue with the removal of the lower front timing belt cover bolts and the lower front timing belt cover. At this time install the crankshaft pulley bolt and rotate the crankshaft clockwise until the timing mark on the crankshaft gear is aligned with the notch at the bottom of the rear timing belt cover. Slightly loosen the water pump retaining bolts. Using the timing belt adjuster, rotate the water pump counterclockwise to release the tension on the timing belt. Remove the right engine mount bracket and then you can remove the timing belt. Then countinue with the installation procedure; Align the timing mark on the crankshaft gear with the notch on the bottom of the rear timing belt cover. Align the timing marks on the camshaft gears. When this is done install the timing belt. Install the right engine mount bracket. Rotate the water pump clockwise using the timing belt adjuster. Rotate the water pump clockwise until the adjust arm pointer of the timing belt automatic tensioner is aligned with the notch in the timing belt automatic tensioner bracket. Tighten the water pump retaining bolts. Rotate the crankshaft two full turns clockwise using the crankshaft pulley bolt. Loosen the water pump retaining bolts and rotate the water pump until the adjust arm pointer of the timing belt automatic tensioner is aligned with the pointer on the timing belt automatic tensioner bracket. Tighten the water pump retaining bolts and remove the crankshaft pulley bolt. Then install the upper and lower front timing belt covers and their bolts. Tighten the front timing belt cover bolts. Install the crankshaft pulley and the crankshaft pulley bolt. Tighten the crankshaft pulley bolt and retighten 30 degrees plus 15 degrees. Install the serpentine accessory drive belt and the right front wheel well splash shield. Install the right front wheel, air cleaner housing and reconnect the air cleaner outlet hose to the throttle body and the breather tube to the camshaft cover. And finally remember to connect the negative battery cable.

sounds to me like the oil pick up in the sump maybe clodged up especialy if engine get noisey and blows smoke when the oil light comes on. had the same problem with mine after removing the sump and pickup and cleaning out with petrol and put it back togather it was fine

3. take the lid off. under it, you will see a sticker with a 5 digit number, this is your code.

Your going to have to take off the front passenger side tire to get at it. its underneath the timing belt cover. I suggest you get some sort of manual to help make sure you dont mess up the timing and bust a valve. On my 1995 Lumina van I just bought, I found 2 mounting screws on the top left and right corners on the headlight unit. If you undo those the entire headlight comes out so you can reach the light bulbs. For the blinkers... there is a bolt holding the blinker to the mount. Un screw that and the blinker comes out so you can replace the bulb. Hope this helps

I wonder why Answer #2 A grey plastic plug with a large screwdriver slot in it located on the top of the transmission box when unscrewed and removed reveals a small dipstick attached to the underside of the plastic plug. This is also where you add any new transmission oil should you drain it or need to top it up.
