You local dealer can use the VIN to get the sales codes and then can tell ratio, etc from there.

Place a pan under the diff. unbolt the perimeter bolts on the diff cover. Remove the cover. You might have to take a blade and run it around the crack between the cover and the diff. housing. This will break the gasket material. Clean the gasket material from the mating surfaces off. Allow all the fluid to drain out. Now you can either go get a gasket (if you can even find one) or use the orange or black permetex gasket maker. Run this around the cover and make a circle around the bolt openings. Just dont get the gasket material in the bolt holes or the bolts wont go all the way back in. Then replace the bolts and torque them. Open the filler hole and refill the fluid to the bottom of the hole. If some comes out that is ok. Hope this helps you. Good luck.

If there is not a drain plug on the bottom of the differential then you will have to remove the rear cover. If that is the case you will need a cover gasket. If it is limited slip, then it will require a special additive. Also be sure of the weight and if it is synthetic or not.

No. The access cover for the differential is only an inch or two forward of the K-frame/firewall in most applications. In order to replace the bearings, the differential carrier must be removed from the transmission; there is not enough clearance to do so with the transmission mounted to the engine, assuming you could even get the differential cover plate off. You will have to remove the transmission. The best way is to support the engine with a jack under the oil pan, unbolt the transmission, unbolt and mark the torque converter with respect to its position on the flywheel, and then lower the transmission out of the bottom of the car using an engine hoist.

unless you drop the k frame, you will need to separate the lower ball joints, outer tie rod ends steering intermediate shaft and power steering hoses (if you only drop the frame down and don't completely remove it you wont need to touch the power steering hose) and the 4 bolts that hold the k frame to the unibody. anybody who has worked on a car before can probally do this. that should give lots of room to get at the diff.

You use gear oil. The recommended weight is 80w-90. Some people that tow a lot like to use a thicker oil like a 75w-140 and others claim that you should put some friction modifier it with it.

First take your seat off. then take your side panel off, find your spark plug wire to the spark plug, pull up until it comes off, make sure you are pulling on the boot and not the wire. then use your spark plug wrench that came with the ATV, it will fit right down in there. make sure its all the way down and turn to your left. Place the new plug the same way.

Yes you can. However, it's fairly complicated. You need to source the parts from a junked car of the same year and equipment. It's probably not worth it... less hassle to just trade in for an ASR-equipped car.

Just keep watching eBay or craigslist or find a car being parted on eBay there are tons of them and just keep asking all of them if they have a switch.

If the system is already installed why do you need to get parts from a salvaged car? It seems you can find a switch anywhere.
