How do you replace the 3 spark plugs on the back of the 3.4 Alero engine?
Unbolt both front engine mounts and use a ratcheting strap, pull the engine forward as far as possible. Then reeeeeach. :) You might find it's easier to remove the plug wires from underneath the car. A ratchet with elbow and an extension(s) are highly recommended for getting to the plugs. you can do it without going to the trouble of moving the engines. it just takes alot of patience and a rachet with a universal joint on it. Or, you can follow the wires to the back one at a time (make sure the engine is cool)and unplug one wire at a time, then unscrew the plug. if you stand at the side of the car while you are doing it you can just about see what you are doing. just be patient and you will get through it. after i did it once, it became rather easy.
