First you will need to remove the door panel, after this is done you should see at least 3 little marks in the door metal, which were made by a punch. Drill a hole where these indentations are and use the appropriate tool to remove the motor.

it all depends on how it was detached, if you replaced the actuator then you need a little pin that fits in the hole at the end of the actuator, you put the rod end into the little hole that is made for the little hook on the end of the rod, after you put the hooked end in you slide the little roller pin through the little holes and it should secure the rod. if you have not replaced the actuator and your rod is loose then you have another problem and it will take more time and is quite a chore if you haven't done it before. you may want to search the web. "Google" actator rod replacement on ford bronco.

i wont swear by it but i think the 2.9 puts out 140 hp

It does, but due to the third brake light (and in some models the rear seat belts) being integrated into the top it is technically no longer legal for it to be removable. Because of this Ford removed the instructions on how to remove the top in the 1992-1996 model owner's manuals. If you can find an owner's manual from a 1991 or older Bronco, the process should be the same. The exception to this is that the brake light wiring and possibly the rear seat belt mounts will also have to be dealt with.

if you can, try and use as much gas before working on your car. It is better to use a hoist for this job. The car needs to be jacked up, you'll need to drop the tank. There are two bolts that are used with the tank straps. Before you loosen them be sure to support the tank, with ply wood and another jack. once lowered, disconnect all fuelines and wiring. Unbolt the sending unit, pull it out of the tank slowly. replace the pump make sure there is good ventilation. keep a hose near by. Also make sure to check the fuel pump box for a gas screen, you'll need to replace itaswell. while you at it do the fuel filter

Do NOT use a trouble light while you do this job. If gasoline hits the hot light bulb it will cause the bulb to burst and it can set the gas aflame. I use either a floursecent bulb style trouble light or a flashlight. Also use wd-40 on the gas tank strap bolts as they will probably be rusty.

ON THE BACK OF THE DOOR THERE IS A FLAT METAL CLIP WITH A SMALL LIP THIS WILL BE BETWEEN THE LOCK AND THE DOOR ON THE BACK SIDE IT IS A LITTLE LONGER AND WIDER THAN THE LOCK IT IS CLOSED ON ONE END AND OPEN ON THE OTHER SIMPLY SLIDE THAT CLIP OFF WITH NEEDLE NOSE OR WHAT EVER YOU CAN GRAB THAT LIP WITH YOU MAY HAVE TO TAP ON THE CLIP A LITTLE BIT IT SHOULD COME RIGHT OUT.

i have a 82 bronco as well and i also had the same problem i checked the window motor and everthing was ok so i checked the PLUG in the dash where the switch is and found my problem it was the CONNECTOR it had come loose so i just pushed it back on and pow fixed it .....so try this out if you havent already found and fixed the problem good luck and thanks for your question

Use the U-shaped radio removal tools. They are available from most auto parts stores. Once you get the tools, it should only take about two minutes to remove the radio. You insert the tools into the holes on the sides of the front of the radio, push them slightly outwards, and pull the radio out.

My friend put 33s on his 91 pick up but didn't have the same turn radius so i would put 31s with no lift ( i have a 89 with a 6 inch lift on 37s)

Sounds like a possible oil pan gasket leak, also check around the oil filter and make sure that it seated properly when it was installed.

Located on the back of the transfere case. On my 01 2500 it is on drivers side about 6 inches forward of the rear shaft output. It plugs in. I have the same hard shifting abd no speed ometer. Dont know how to fix yet.

Look in the passenger foot well and you will see a fan motor and a black plastic assembly with a large hex head screw.Remove the screw and you can then remove a slim rectangular panel with 2 metal lugs attached.When the panel is removed the filter can be pulled down.Easy 2 minute job. Good luck

YOU ONLY BLEED BRAKES WHEN YOU DISCONECT ANY BRAKE LINES OR HOSES OR IF YOU CHANGING YOUR ENTIRE FLUID. IF YOU JUST CHANGE PADS AND OR SHOES YOU DO NOT NEED TO BLEED IT. JUST MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU PUSH THE PISTON BACK ON YOUR CALIPERS, THE RESERVOIR CAP MUST BE OFF TO AVOID DAMAGING ANY COMPONENTS.

Is the motor getting power? is the regulator working? The rear windows will not go all the way down. It is a child protection thing. They will only roll down half way.
