The first coil is on passenger side by firewall and then go from there.

There are four ways to find a ratio.

1 A dealer can normally tell from the vin number.

2 There are normally tags or labels on the axle that have part number, gear ratio, and fluid requirement

3 You can count how many times you have to turn the driveshaft to get one complete turn of the tires.

4 You can divide the number of teeth on the ring gear and divide by number of teeth on the pinion.

Pre-catalyst is a catalytic converter that is fitted to Diesel engines to control emissions soon after engine start up when the main catalytic converter is not yet up to operational temperatures. In Europe a pre-catalyst is commonly used where a Diesel Particulate filter is fitted for stage 4 and 5 emissions requirements. The DPF is placed upstream from the main catalyst and in turn prevents the main catalyst heating up quickly enough to control the very initial emissions.

You probably have a bad coil. You have 2 of them, I would start with the primary.

Depends on the circumstances and the progression of the ensuing issue. you can also bypass your heater core to make sure your heater core isn't clogged,your can also have your cooling system ckecked for leaks,and if you or someone has added alot of stop leaks to your cooling system that could also be the cause of your problems answer

The coil pack itself is easy to remove, getting to it is the hard part. Remove air filter and housing and go from the front. Remove the wire connector and remove small bolt. I changed all eight, not fun, but saves lots of money. If you have a 1/4" drive swivel head socket and extension, it is not that bad.
