With engine oil filter change :

ALL sizes of GASOLINE engines take ( 6.0 U.S. quarts of 5W-20 )

* 4.2 liter V6 / 4.6 and 5.4 liter V8's / 6.8 liter V10

No you cant drive a Box Truck on the Garden State Parkway north of Exit 105(State Route 18). South of Exit 105, you are OK

towing, now I carry alot of weight so if I'm driving under 60 mph or mountain terrain I turn overdrive off will save transmission repairs later

The water inside a hose can freeze.

check wiring connections make shure they are tight or that they all got put back on. check for available voltage at starter and batteries also proform voltage drop test on starting circuit

Horn has constant 12vdc at horn terminal. Horn doesn't work. Checked steering wheel horn switch. Ohmed relay contact posistions/ok. Fuse is good also

you most likely have a bad front abs speed sensor....take your van to an auto parts store an have them run a code test for that will tell you if it is the left or right side.

Center of dash, below the ash tray is a slot 4 inches by 1/2 inch.

usually they're directly under the headlights just behind the front bumper .. there should be one on either side

Pre-catalyst is a catalytic converter that is fitted to Diesel engines to control emissions soon after engine start up when the main catalytic converter is not yet up to operational temperatures. In Europe a pre-catalyst is commonly used where a Diesel Particulate filter is fitted for stage 4 and 5 emissions requirements. The DPF is placed upstream from the main catalyst and in turn prevents the main catalyst heating up quickly enough to control the very initial emissions.

You probably have a bad coil. You have 2 of them, I would start with the primary.

multiple reasons can cause overheating,usually the thermostat.But I found out it can also be The radiator being clooged,The fan clutch is faulty,or having a flex fan with out a shroud.It also depends on how it is driven. You may have the wrong size exhaust system if you or someone else have changed the engine from a 305 or smaller size. Could also be airlocked, a head gasket might be gone, water pump might be done as well. Hard to say. Depends on the circumstances and the progression of the ensuing issue. you can also bypass your heater core to make sure your heater core isn't clogged,your can also have your cooling system ckecked for leaks,and if you or someone has added alot of stop leaks to your cooling system that could also be the cause of your problems answer

the timing could be off and also you could have a reverse flow water pump (serpintine)

The coil pack itself is easy to remove, getting to it is the hard part. Remove air filter and housing and go from the front. Remove the wire connector and remove small bolt. I changed all eight, not fun, but saves lots of money. If you have a 1/4" drive swivel head socket and extension, it is not that bad.

Hi! I have the same problem on my 1992 econoline. Both turn signals/Hazard switch and middle rear break light do not function. while pushing he hazard switch often in a row, sometimes the flashers return...? I thought hazard and turn signals had a separate relais...? That makes me wonder if this could be a ground problem...? Do you have fixed the problem yet? please let me know. Thx, Axel from Germany We had the exact same problem, if your center brake light DID work during this scenario. If so, the problem is the Hazard Switch on top of the steering column. You might be able to make it work temporarily by pushing the hazzard switch to one side and testing it, and if that doesn't work, try pushing it to the other side, etc. The switch is going bad, so you'll have to replace it, and this supposedly involves removing the steering column. We'll have to find out since we just discovered this today. I had the exact same problem. I tried every fuse and bulb with no change. Removed steering column and key assembly. Made sure all connections were tight and somehow after weeks of nothing, everything started working. I am going to replace the directional/hazard assembly - should everything stop working again.
