If you own a 2003-2009 ford f-150 with a rattle under the drivers side dash that sounds kind of like a metal tab or spring,,,try this. look at the brake pedal carrier assembly >> the metal frame that holds the pivot pin for your brake pedal >> it has 2 bolts that mount it to the sheet metal way up under your dash. You can either loosen the one closest to the drivers side door by 1/4 of a turn, this usually works on 75% of the time , or you can remove both bolts and put 2 thin washers behind the metal carrier.

You have a serious electrical problem in your living room. Chances are your roof is leaking into an electrical box shorting something out. Call a roofer and an electrician. I wouldn't recommend trying to DIY here, as there is something wrong that could kill you. Electricity can conduct through wet insulation from whatever is shorting, so you can get zapped poking around even if you don't enter any electrical boxes.

If the lights go out suddenly (as opposed to flickering) it may be due to a ground-fault circuit interrupter. This can be triggered by moisture entering an outlet or appliance anywhere on the same circuit. Make sure that outdoor outlets are closed against moisture when not in use.

If it does than see if you radiator cooling fan is working and that your engine is not overheating because this shuts off the A/C compressor or causes it to "cycle" on and off, thus pushing only hot or semi cool air out you A/C vents inside the passenger compartment. The A/C works in concert with your engine's cooling system and it (A/C system) also has a "High" and a "Low" pressure that will also cause your A/C cut out! Check to see if the cooling fan (radiator) is working and the temperature indicator in the dash board is not indicating "hot". If the radiator cooling shuts off while your A/C is on (which it should not) than you have engine cooling system problems. The system was designed to keep your A/C from adding heat to your engine's coolant when the engine's cooling system is not working as it should! Are you talking about two separate switches?

The rear defrost switch might have corroded contacts or a bad spring mechanism. The factory manual recommends you pull off a few covers and drop the steering column to get to the defrost switch, but I found that some careful prying at the top and bottom of the defrost switch where it meets the dash with a knife point or thin flat screwdriver will get it to pop out. If you are adventuresome, pop the switch open and clean the contacts (look out for a flying spring!) , otherwise get one from the dealership or friendly local junk yard.

Disconnect brake line at the nearest junction

Disconnect brake line at the affected wheel cylinder

Route new brake line same way old one was

Connect both ends

Bleed the wheel cylinder on that line

MAKE SURE MASTER CYLINDER DOES NOT RUN EMPTY

Its under the dash on the drivers side in the engine compartment.

I found a set for my Enders Special Service a.k.a. crescent on eBay of all places. It took some time and alot of questions, pictures and measurements but was worth the wait. There are many barrel sets that will fit with a little tinkering.
