What causes vibrating when braking at high speeds?
Possibly warped rotors, loose wheel bearing, or a defect in a tire. Inspect your tires carefully, looking for bulges, or any other abnormality. If you find none, then you will need to check the wheel for looseness, and if it is not loose, then have the rotors removed and turned. Replace the front pads at this time. I would suspect you will find the rotors are warped. When replacing the wheel after service, be sure and tighten the lugs nuts to the proper torque, (found in you owner's manual). Tighten to tight and the rotors will warp again.

How do you troubleshoot fluctuating pressure?
It could be as simple as air in the lines. First thing I would try is: Turn off the main water supply coming into the house. Then turn on all your taps while the water is turned off. Turn the water back on and start at the farthest faucet from the main and start turning taps off. Work your way back towards the main until you are done. Hope this helps.

Is it true that if you touch a cold halogen bulb with clean fingers you shorten its lifespan?
Yes ( if you touch the bulb with your fingers , clean it with alcohol )
supplement. I believe the mechanism is that salts from the fingerprint will collect on the QUARTZ bulb envelope. The UV from the discharge will help the finger debris etch into the quartz, thus risking it fracturing due to unequal stresses.
Because of higher operating temperatures and pressures, the bulb gets very hot in service, hence the use of quartz.

How do you change the gasket on the oil filter housing and is there anything that is behind it?
The gaskets on most oil filters is bonded to it and, while it may be possible replace it, it's probably cheaper and certainly easier just to buy a new filter with it's own new gasket attached.
If by 'oil filter housing' what is meant is what the oil filter is attached to on the engine, usually this is machined into the engine block and there is no gasket to remove unless the oil filter gasket has unbonded from the filter and stuck to the block.
depending on vehicle. I have a for 2003 Ford Exp. and it is mounted with 4 bolts. on the same mount there is an approx 2" hose ,coolant presumably, that attaches as well.
On a Jeep 4.0L for example, you use a t60 torx to remove the center bolt. You then replace the three o-rings and reinstall.

How do you program a keyless entry remote on a 1993-1995 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable?
How does a CD player read a CD?
The CD disc is a 'sandwich' of a thin layer of metal and plastic. (The metal is the 'meat' - the plastic is the 'bread'. The metal layer has music recorded on it by a laser - which creates microscopic 'pits' in the surface. The CD player has a (less powerful) laser - which reads the pits - and converts the data into music.

Why would the steering wheel of your Toyota Corolla vibrate at speeds between 60 mph and 70 mph?
If you don't rotate your tires, your belts within the tires can separate and cause a vibrating feeling in your cabin in mid to high speed driving.
AnswerIf it's a 2009 Toyota Corolla it might be an issue with the new powersteering. EPSThere are essentially 3 aspects about the tires one should watch for. 1. Alignment (toe-in, camber caster), causes wear patterns, affects handling 2. Balance (tire center of mass is off the axis), causes vibration 3. "Out of round" - that's what the regular rotation is taking care of (recommended every 5000 miles), causes vibration as well. #1 doesn't do much about vibration (to my knowledge). #2 and #3 are very similar in their effect. #2 is easily cured by balancing. #3 could be mitigated (not cured) by regular rotation (if you've never done that before), or cured by getting new tires (and don't forget to rotate those!)
AnswerMy steering wheel vibrates in that speed range when my tire pressure is too low. AnswerTire loading can also be a factor...last two sets of Continental tires developed load (roundness) related vibration because belts pulled parallel to tread and developed "flat" spots that would shake the side of the car the defective tire was locaated on.Some other considerations**
Lets say your brakes, suspension upgrades and aligments are good. Check your steering linkages, suspension pivot and attachment points (knuckle joints, rubber bushings) make sure there isn't any play that could be from damage or wear to these components. If your steering linkage is loose from worn out bushing on the drop bar, gear box, or whatever, at hihgway speeds your spinning wheels could cause cavitation that these components cant handle and eventually fail. Get someone ( mechanis shop, suspension specialist) to look at it first. I would suggest purchasing a low priced plan for aligment services. The one i got is dependable. They should help you determine how much the cost wil be to upgrade (polyurethane bushings, new shocks) or if your components are just worn (bushings (which could be upgraded when replacing), joints). Or it could be the dreaded CV joints. Atleast they can tell you.

Try Napa, or just go to a Mazda dealers part dept. They come in both spin on and cartride. And if i remember correctly it is 4.5 qts.
AnswerIt is a cartridge. Make sure you get the kit, because you will need the O-rings, also. FYI, you need to get a "special" wrench to remove the housing in order to replace the oil filter. These parts can all be purchased at a Mazda dealer's parts department or online. AnswerI love my 2005 Mazda 3 2.3 liter, but we can't find oil filters ANYWHERE!!! The guy at Autozone said they didn't even have access to order one. Normally not a big deal, but my husband has never and will never take a vehicle to someone else to change the oil.
