1. Remove alternator drive belt. 2. Place alternator in upper most position. 3. Remove radiator overflow bottle. 4. Remove power steering pump drive belt. 5. Disconnect return line from pump. 6. Completely back off power steering pump pressure line nut. The pressure line will separate when the pump bracket is removed. 7. Remove power steering pump mounting bolts and pump. 8. Reverse procedure to install.

The thermostat on a 1997 Ford F-250 is located under the upper hose assembly in the radiator. To locate the thermostat, drain the radiator halfway and remove the hose at the top of the radiator.

No. E85 requires a vehicle to be designed to run it. It requires different internal engine componets, such as valves, and different computer stradegies such as timing and air/fuel metering. E85 is cheaper, but there really isn't any econmic benefit to the consumer to run E85. Because while it may be cheaper to buy, it gets significantly less miles per gallon. It isn't as efficient, so you burn way more fuel.

There should be a silver button on the side of the switch (behind dash area) Depress this button, pull the knob competely out of the switch Unscrew bezel and switch should come out from behind the dash Ford suggest changing the connector also at this time

The AC low pressure port is located on top of the receive/dryer. This can be found on the passenger's side on the firewall.

IRCM= Integrated Relay Control Module

CCRM= Constant Control Relay Module

They are basically the same thing. The module consists of 4 relays that work in conjunction with the PCM to make things work.

1. Relay for the PCM

2. Relay for the high and low radiator fan speeds

3. Relay for the fuel pump

4. Rely for the Air Conditioning clutch on the compressor

1 - 3 - 4 - 2 in clockwise order. depends on the size of the engine

The rear seat isn't made to come off unless you want it off for good. Even if you tried to put it back on, it will never be the same. Teh lower "seat" seat, just pops up, and can be pulled out, the "back" part of the seat sits on hooks somehow.

Big job. You can either remove the transmission and engine, or just the transmission. If one or the other, you must remove the brakes, punch out the axles, and remove, and then start to unbolt the trans. Make sure to take off the fly wheel and have it turned, and put in a new bearing with the new clutch and pressure plate. Yes it is a big job, that's why the garage can charge up to $ 1000.

I have a 1992 Tempo that was stalling all the time after it warmed up. I found out there was a class-action lawsuit against Ford for defective design/location of the TFI modules because they malfunction when they get hot. By court order, Ford extended the warranty on these TFI modules to 100,000 miles, regardless of age or resale. My local Ford Dealer ordered a replacement from the Obsolete Parts department at Ford and installed it all at no charge.

The First answer is correct, but most people think of the jam as the part the door latches on to. The lever should be located right below the latch on the door itself. It should say either Child locks on/off or lock/unlock. Depending on the make it will read something to that effect. In addition to this many times the child latch has vibrated to a middle position over the years making the door a pain to open. There should be a small lever on the door jamb.

for starters you remove bolts from strut and wheel hub. then in the middle of the wheel hub you will see a bolt remove it.

pull tension on the c.v and axle and pop it out of the gearbox with a flat head screw driver. pull out. then remove c.v of axle and replace.

Disconnect the battery for 24 hours. A pain? Yes, but mine comes back on within a few hundred miles. I need to change the pricey 02 sensor. That's a letter o not a zero.

go to autozone for a free diagnostic check & the computer will tell you what is wrong ie map sensor. idel air control . mass airflow sensor

As with any vehicle equipped with one, a bad O2 sensor can cause the onboard computer to change the amount of fuel sent to the cylinders and cause the engine to run too rich or too lean. Either way, poor performance/poor fuel economy will result and in extreme cases the car can stall, not start at all or otherwise be rendered undriveable. It's a screw-in part with an electrical connector found near where the exhaust pipe is bolted to the exhaust manifold. Penetrating oil and patience is advised, but a shade-tree mechanic can replace it fairly easily. They aren't that expensive.

I have the same problem with my tempo not sure what it is thought it was the fan not kicking on soon enough thought it was the thermostat but neither were the problem must be the water pump the only thing i havent checked.
