How do you disable the anti theft system on a 2000 ford windstar?
This stupid anti-theft system malfunctions more often than not...leaviving you and your family stranded in a van that won't start. This is what works: Put the key in the ignition like you are going to start it (make sure the car is in "Park". Right under the front of the vehicle you will find the starter motor. You'll need to use a tool (I use a long screwdriver) to touch both positive and negative lines togeter. You will get a quick arc and the car will start.
Try this: with the ignition key in as if you are going to start the van, pull the shift stick towards yourself, and turn the ignition key. While turning the key, you may have to wiggle the stick a little bit.

How do you know the fuel pump is the problem?
Put key in ignition. Radio and everything else should be shut off so you can hear the fuel pump turn on. Turn key to start position. If you don't hear a hum/whine sound coming from the fuel pump, that means the pump is not working. Check for loose connections in the wires, a bad ground connection, or replace the pump altogether. Because it's not turning on and sending any fuel to the motor.
How many cans of 134 should you put in a 97 ford f150?
It would be better if you bought a 134a refill kit which has a gauge. This is important because you would be avoiding overfilling the system and damaging the compressor/ other componets. There likely is already some gas in your system, and in the long run you'd probably save yourself some money. The "bicycle type" gauges work, but only as a very rough estimate- a gauge is the best.

For 1995-1998 3.0 liter engines, the sensor that feeds the dashboard gauge is likely to be green and is very close to where the ECT sensor is.
How do you adjust the headlights on a 2001 Ford Windstar to get more reach down the road?
vertical adjusters are found above the outboard side of the lamp assembly. A special Torx wrench (E8) available at an auto parts store is required. The bubble leveler indicator inside the lens assembly should show when the lamp is properly set.
On my 2000 Windstar, the bubble leveler never moved so aiming process became a pure guess.
The headlight alignment procedures are detailed, and illustrated in the Owners Manual - See "Related Questions" below

Carefully clear the old gasket material on the manifold and head, clear the bolt nad bolt hole in the head, then carfully install the lower intake MGand double check the coolant passage in ordeer to void the coolant leading.
