How do you fix a Ford Windstar air conditioner that comes on but blows hot air?
Sounds like you've verified the AC functions - so it's a matter of the temperature controls.
On a Windstar, this is controlled by a small motor that moves the temperature blend door. This motor is virtually guaranteed to fail. That's the bad news, the good news is that it's an easy and not expensive fix!

What makes the abs light comes on a ford windstar?
Something has gone wrong with the Antilock Brake System . It could be a fuse ,
a sensor , or some other problem
As long as the red " BRAKE " light is not on in your dash you still have " normal "
braking
* in my case , the ABS warning light suddenly came on and the first ABS
fuse that I checked was not installed all the way . I touched the fuse
with my finger , heard a click , and the ABS warning light went out
( I don't know how that could have happened to the fuse ! )
Owner's manual. What does the red light say? Any red light always means Stop, Danger, etc, so don't ignore it.
all relays are pluged into your fuse box, it may be a seperate box but the older ones use the fuse box, there the little square boxes, if you have an owners manual it will have a diagram and will show you which ones are which, the cover should have numbers to go by or sometimes it will just tell you what fuse goes to what part, butch
it could be that your brown cap seal (plastic ring that goes around the neck of the fuel pump) is cracked and that can cause you to lose fuel pressure in the fuel line after your car is off because no fuel can stay in the fuel line it just falls back in the fuel tank, only after a number of times the fuel line finally has pressure common problem on talon eclipse and lasers.
if not that try taking it to a mechanic after you have checked all sensors plugs and etc.
What does the warning light above the temperature gage mean on a 1999 ford windstar?

To disarm the alarm without the remote control, just incase your remote/blip key doesn't work:
- unlock the doors with the key and enter the vehicle (this will start the alarm off)
- within 10 seconds of the alarm sounding, press and hold the ultrasonics override switch (to the right of the steering wheel) whilst turning on the ignition.
If necessary, repeat the procedure if the siren restarts (after 30 seconds)
I have to do this each time I disconnect and reconnect the battery.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To reconnect a disconnected battery without the alarm going off, simply put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "ignition on" position. Then connect your battery . Dead easy and peaceful too! Oh! remember to remove your keys before you forget where you put them!!
If a 1997 Isuzu Trooper will not start and makes no attempt to turn over is this a bad starter?
It could be the starter, battery, battery terminals, neutral lockout switch, keyswitch, bad wire or a poor connection somewhere. Don't just replace parts without knowing which parts are faulty.
1. Check the battery terminals, clean them, twist around the connectors to the battery posts. If they are loose, remove them, clean the terminals and then tighten them down.
2. Try to start it.
3. If it doesn't, I would not hunt for a poor connection yet. Take a hammer and use the butt of it (not the head) to knock on the side of the starter. Then try to restart. This can sometimes shake up the metal brushes inside the starter and make it start. If that works, it's your starter. It cost me about 250 for my 1990 w/a rebuilt starter.
4. Previous post is correct. Don't change more than any one thing at a time. Then try to start. Proceed accordingly.
