You are supposed to only have to press the brake pedal. Evidentally your brake lights aren't working. You probably need to see if the brake light switch is bad.

Yes there is a PCV valve. The PCV valve on GM 3.8 liter engines in on the passenger side of the car upper plenum in a well or compartment. This well has a pressure sensor on top of a 1/4 turn cover.Under this cover maybe a spring and two o-rings one on the cover & one on the PCV valve itself.Be careful don't break the pressure sensor, it also has a seal that fits into the PCV cover. The 3300 is a smaller version of the Buick 231, AKA 3800. The 3800 has no PCV valve. I could not find it either on my girlfriend's old Olds 3300. I think it's safe to assume that it simply doesn't have one. Go to a parts store and ask them to look up one. I'll bet they won't have it. The PCV valve sucks crankcase gases into the intake where they can be combusted. The valve itself protects the crankcase from becoming pressureized in the case of backfire which could cause lots of bad stuff. I'm assuming that the 3800 has enough crankcase "ventilation" where this wouldn't be a problem.

Most likely. Same thing happend to my ZX7R, if I have the starter button pushed in and hit the relay with the back of a screw driver I can get the bike to start.

Per the Yamaha service manual, a 2001 Warrior uses a NGKD8EA plug and the gap should be 0.024" to 0.028"

The cooling fan relay on a 1996 Windstar is on the fender wall next to the battery. It is part of a group of relay switches in this area.

Since my 2001 SEL has drum, I'd "assume" the LX also has rear drum brakes.

If you can see anything of what is behind the wheel by looking through the wheel spokes or cover - it's pretty easy to determine the brakes look the same as the front wheels.

You could also squat down and look at the backside directly to compare.

The intake air temperature(IAT) sensor is located in the air cleaner box. this vhicle uses a combionation IAT /MAF(mass air flow) sensor. 6 wires are connected to it.

Yes, but not very well. The MAF provides a critical set of data to the computer for its calculations of proper engine timing, air-fuel mixtures, and all the other stuff it does in controlling the engine.

Best to clean it, test it, and replace (only if necessary).

"Stear" isn't a word, but "steer" in this sense would be to guide the course of a vehicle.. not sure why this is even on here.

I beleave its .040 I have mine set there after looking online at 2 sites that said the same thing, and it runs great, and passed emitions. I set them myself to, so i know there at .040 i set mine to .044. you can go to a dealership and get them to tell you for FREE.

Standard V-6 will be 0.06

if you have a digital volt meter, locate sensor on engine. key on engine off,ground black test lead, insert red test into rear of sensor connector.1 wire will be ground = 0.00 volts dc, 1 wire will be 5 volt dc reference voltage, and 1 wire will be signal voltage to the engine computer. i assume your getting a trouble code which is why your even checking this sensor.the signal voltage is why a code sets. if 2 wires are showing 5 volts then you have bad ground,or 2 wires showing 0.00 volts then sensor / wiring is either shorted to ground. these sensor do fail alot, probably is a bad sensor or maybe the tubes to it are damaged or disconnected.

Not exactly sure on the Windstar, but recently had the same question for a Contour: try pulling on the lightswitch. Note: the fog lights on the Contour can only be turned on when the headlights are on.

Repair the problem that has caused the computer to trip the light. Reset it without repairing the problem and it will just come back on. Auto Zone will perform a free scan in most states. Normally you reset it with an OBD2 scan tool. You can try disconnecting the battery for 2 hours but this rarely works.
